It is nice hotel near Via Veneto with cozy (but VERY small) rooms. It was close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Via Veneto, Piazza Barberini, Villa Borghese and another sights. Also metro is near the hotel. Breakfast is quite poor, but enough for starting the day... And also

We have just come back from 3 nights in Hotel Caprice where we had a good time. The hotel is in a central but quiet location. Staff are friendly and helpful, speak good English and French. They are also sympathetic if you try to use a bit of Italian ! Rooms are modern and clean. Breakfast is fine. If you have...

Dear Customer, First we wish to thank you for your positive review about our Hotel and the breakfast service , also thank you from all the staff, we appreciate very much your good impressions. We went to Rome as a couple for my 50th and stayed at the Caprice, It is a small, clean functional hotel in a great location. The staff were helpful and the rooms modern but as expected small with a king size bed and a great power shower which was useful after long days walking. We used the mini bar...

wonderful hotel. There is only one minus: doors are too slim. As a result - you hear everything in the hall.

Dear Customer, We are very happy for your opinion about our Hotel, it means that our efforts are rewarded by the results obtained. Sorry for the noise, may be some noisy neighbor on your same floor, should not depend by the room doors because they are heavy enough. Thank you very much and come back again to the Hotel Caprice!

Small, clean, hotel. Newly renovated rooms. Very nice location. Less then 10 min walk to subway station. We walked to the Trevi Fountain everyday. We took a mini van shuttle from the airport straight to our hotel for 16 euros each. We also called them to pick us up after our trip. I wouldnt recommend taking the public transit with...

Hptel is very close to Spanish stairs and Fontana de Trevi. Realy walking distance to almost everywhere in Rome. We stayed with child, and it is also good location as Villa Borgesse is nearby to walk there and let child run and jump :-). This is not possible in crowded areas of tourist districts in Rome... Breakfast is quite poor,...

I stayed here for one night in February. This is one of the best values I've ever had in a hotel room. The location was excellent, and the room was quite comfortable. Many, many sights are within easy walking distance. I think this hotel is significantly under-rated, and it is by far a much better hotel than some higher rated...

Dear Ms. Sarah, thank you for your positive review. Cheap, renovated(looks exactly like the photos), double room is big for Europe, great breakfast, smart area(5 star hotels everywhere), walking distance to sites, helpful concierge, and quiet. Much better than 3 stars and at 70 usd a night probably your best value.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
