The best part is location . You are a couple of minutes walk from the Spanish Steps in a quiet lane . I had asked for a non smoking room when i got in late at night the room was smelling of smoke . I got all the smoke from the other rooms coming in . The room was small...

Four ladies off to Rome chose this Hotel with a little trepidation as to sharing a bathroom. We need not have worried. We had a suite of rooms including a spacious lobby, one room with twin beds leading to huge bathroom with walk-in shower and two basins with separate toilet. Leading off passageway was Master Bedroom with enormous bed. Fabulous...

It was my first trip to Rome, and the location can't be beat. It is steps from Piazza del Popolo and 5 minutes walking from Piazza di Spagna. The hotel is very charming, very clean rooms, helpful and welcoming staff. The rooftop terrace is a lovely spot, well decorated, with a nice view, and the food is absolutely amazing. I...

We were recommended to stay at Hotel Valadier by family and ended up loving it too. Although an older style hotel in terms of decor, the location near Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso was perfect to explore Roma! We stayed in a Superior Bamboo room which was relatively modern, clean and spacious (for Rome standards!). we had views...

I stayed in Valadier for 6 days in June, travelled alone. Though there are many reviews about the small rooms, the room I was given was quite spacious! Air conditioning worked, the room was clean, as well as the bathroom. Comfortable closets for clothes. Rome is a noisy city, and noisiness is not the problem of the hotel. I woke...

located near piazza popolo; hotel was adequate at best; interior was exceptionally dark; the smoke from smokers in the adjacent rooms came thorugh the air conditioning. breakfast was very nice; but the staff paid very little attention to guests coming and going; nice rooftop bar and retaurant.

Overall I'm glad we were here. I'm sure there are other nice properties in the area but this was OK. You needed a GPS to negotiate the stairs, turns, doors and elevators but I'm betting this is the case with many of the hotels located in the heart of Rome. Rooftop bar and restaurant were nice to visit, but way...

This hotel is located in a great place, 30 seconds from Pizza del popolo, and 2 minutes from the Spanish stairs. The rooms are very clean and elegant and the staff are nice and welcoming. Breakfast - very good and rich. Internet - free WiFi in the rooms with good signal and speed. In short - Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Valadier with my wife and brother in September-2011. Summary review as follows:- Good points + unbeatable location + rooms for 3 people Bad points - weak air conditioning made the room stuffy - odd layout so if you stay in the 'other part' of the hotel, you have to take an elevator up then come back...
