We stayed at Hotel Majestic for 3 nights during the month of November. The location was excellent but everything else was not. We would wake up early in the morning at the loud sound of staff shouting in the hallway, the minibar was never refilled and we found opened bottles of drinks inside it that were never replaced. Whenever we...

This hotel was classy with beautiful decor and service. Room we had was a great size and very comfy beds. Breakfast was pricey so better to venture out to the many cafes only a few steps from the hotel. Short walk to on off bus stop and easy access to just wander this beautiful city.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and all the staff members and the service were perfect. The hotel is well located. The rooms are very comfortable. The only concern was the noise from the street taking into consideration that we were on the first floor. You could hear everything on the street, but in general it was an...

We stayed at the Majestic for three nights and loved it. The front desk, particularly Claudia, and the concierge desk were very helpful. The interior is lovely, and our room was attractive, with an excellent bathroom and very comfortable bed. The WIFI was excellent - something that is very important to me. We also thought the breakfast buffet was outstanding....

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Majestic Roma embraces its neoclassical heritage by reinventing it for the 21st century and offering guests the chance to step into a one of the city's most glamorous residences. The hotel is an original combination of styles, a study in careful contradictions that juxtaposes white lacquered pieces of furniture, rich textures and the extraordinary use of color to evoke an emotional response from all who visit. Rooms and suites show a gentle use of simple lines and almost imperceptible curves, creating a perfect blend of innovative setup style combined with classic elegance. The hotel Majestic Roma is located directly on Via Veneto, few steps from Villa Borghese, the second largest landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and city's finest boutiques. Convenient to enjoy museums, theatre, nightlife, restaurants and to reach the financial center. ... more   less
