Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

Room was clean, great, comfortable. Breakfast quite good, dinner not so much. I got the half board (two meals a day), skipped one dinner. Didn't eat a lot of it. You can spend less on better food walking around. I wrote the kitchen manager a letter. Other hotel I stayed at had

Pleasant clean hotel. Nice staff, people behind the desk spoke English, Italian, and Japanese, just from what I saw. The bathroom was beautiful with a great shower. There was a kettle and a small fridge, but the fridge was full. There were a lot of tv channels on a fairly sized

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights which cost around £250! It's about just under 10 minute walk from the main station Termini. Check-in was quick and our room was ready when we arrived at 12 so didn't have to wait. The room was nice and the bed is comfy. The city tax is I think

What’s a French bed?
I have no idea, all I can tell you is the mattresses were firm and we all had a good night's sleep.

There is not a shuttle, but they have a service to provide transportation to airport. We made the arrangements with front desk a couple days in advance. It was less expensive than the hassle of taking the train, which we also considered. The train station is about a block away.

We used Viator to set up our day trips and shuttle. The Hotel doesn't have one per se but will arrange as well.

Hello, does this hotel has air conditioning control inside the room? Thank you!
We were there the day after Thanksgiving and while there is AC in the room it's turned off in the entire hotel so don't expect to use it until they deem it necessary to turn it back on

hello, how much would a car service for 4 people cost from FCO airport to the hotel?
No idea, we booked the bus service from the airport for a few euros and took us straight to the Termini bus/coach station
