Hotel is 2 mins from Termini station so connections are excellent & only 20 mins walk to the main sights in Rome. the breakfast was fab loads to choose from & lovely staff. I always felt safe in the area just take the normal precautions you would in any city. A couple of decent restaurants next door for dinner. I...

Stayed here for two nights on a short break to Rome. The hotel is within easy walking distance from the main railway station ( Termini) and in a good position to walk to all the main attractions in the centre of Rome. The buffet breakfast is extensive and you are offered as much coffee and cappuccino as you can drink!...

Stayed here for 2 nights on a city break. It's just a couple of minutes' walk from Roma Termini station (ideal for catching the train to/from the airport). The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, while the bathroom and shower were spotless. The reception staff were very helpful, even allowing us into our room two hours before the official check-in...

The hotel was in a great location, close to Termini station. The room was small but we only slept in there so was perfect for what we needed. It was spotless and had everything we needed. Best thing about the hotel was the staff. They were so friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend to...

Hotel Morgana is a fine choice when staying in Rome, and I would stay there again. It is an easy five minute walk to Termini station. We arrived after midnight on the Metro yet we felt safe walking to the hotel and received a warm welcome when we arrived. Our fifth floor room fronted onto the main street yet we...

Beautiful place, helpful staff and ideally situated to all the local attractions. Would highly recommend. Be careful when booking flights as ours didn't include any baggage! God dam you Expedia! Otherwise a beautiful city with some amazing culture.

We visited the Hotel Morgana for a 4 day city break with our 3 adult children this week. We had an executive room that was compact to say the least! This was defiantly not a room with a view!! - we looked over the neighbouring buildings rubbish !! Our children's room was much bigger but with a similar view !...

Good hotel with an excellent buffet breakfast, one of the best I have eaten, they also had coffee, tea and croissants available in the siting area all morning. Yes it is central but my room overlooked the main street where I heard the bins being emptied around 3AM and other traffic at various intervals, so it was noisy. This was...

This hotel is a five minute walk from Terminii station. Perfect for the train to and from the airport, for lines A and B on the metro and the bus terminus. The breakfasts are good with plenty of great cakes and pastries, yoghourts and cereals, bacon and eggs and breads. You order fresh expresso and cappuccino from the excellent waiting...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
