We spent 4 nights here over Valentine's weekend. The location was fantastic, Trevi fountain literally just across the street, Pantheon a five minute walk. We didn't use public transport as we walked to all the sites including the Vatican. The room was fairly small but we knew this when we booked. It didn't matter as we were hardly in it...

If you're planning to visit the most famous sights in Rome, then you couldn't really pick a better positioned hotel than the Regno. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Vatican City and Sistine Chapel are all within comfortable walking distance from the hotel on the Via Del Corso. When you arrive at Rome's Fiumicino Airport, I'd recommend that you take...

We spent four nights at the Hotel Regno, right in the heart of Rome. The hotel's location is superb, on one of the main shopping streets and walking distance to many of the must-see sights. On entering via a small door you are met with a not much bigger reception area but the staff were efficient and friendly. Our double...

We've just returned from a long weekend (over Valentines) & a 3 night stay at Hotel Regno. Ideally placed for all attractions.... All in walking distance. Hotel is fairly rated at 3 stars. Decor could do with updating but clean & thoroughly acceptable. Breakfast lovely, fresh, good variety if breads, hams, cheeses, juice, cereal, jams, cakes, pastries that change daily....

We were in Rome for the 6 nations and just sort of wanted somewhere reasonably priced and comfortable. We found a little gem in this one! It is so central. We walked everywhere. Loads of restaurants and bars nearby. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Easiest thing to say is if ever in Rome again I'd book in...

we stayed here for three nights in February and had a great time. We had a street facing room on the first floor. I say a room, it had a bathroom, separate toilet and a lovely pair of French doors leading to a balcony over looking the street. The hotel is five mins walk to the Trevino Fountain, ten mins...

The Regno is a great base hotel to explore Rome. Close to the main attractions with many shops, restaurants and transport links. I was disappointed with the amount of noise other guests were making. During a 3 night break, I managed to get one good nights sleep. I was woken up on various occasions by the people in the room...

Just come back from 4 nights in Rome staying at the Hotel Regno. . First trip to Rome so wanted to stay near all the major attractions avoiding too much public transport or Taxis to get around. If that's your "cup of Tea" then you couldn't ask for a better location. Everything is within walking reasonable distance, Pantheon and Trevi...

Hotel is ok, the location is excellent. You are 3 minutes walk from Tevvi Fountain, 5 mins from Pantheon, 20 minutes from Colloseum, .30 minutes from Vatican. Its located by quite busy street with lots of shops and boutiques. We had a room on the first floor with the balcony and yet the street noise was not bad at all....

Chose the hotel as part of a BA package and were expecting a good no-frills hotel in the centre to use as our sight seeing base. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised; the bed was lovely aned comfy it had a nice deep bath (though the plug wasn't good at holding the water in so had to be refilled...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
