This was my 3rd visit to Rome & by far the best place I have stayed. My 2 friends & I arrived at 11.30pm to a lovely welcome from Francesca. She showed us to our room which had a double & a single bed with a good sized toilet/shower room. In the reception area you write down the time at...

The room is nice, tall ceiling, nice wallpaper and the bed was comfy with nice cushions. The bathroom was compact but nicely done up with a hairdryer included. We had access to breakfast which they cooked for us, eggs and bacon typically and also had access to snacks and cakes which they provided in the day. You could also help...

Stayed in St Peters Guest House for 3 night break/girls weekend. We stayed in a tastefully decorated and furnished family room with ensuite facilities. Small shared kitchen and dining area, where breakfast is served at time which suits the guests. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The kitchen is stocked with soft drinks, cheeses, cold meats, crackers, fruit and coffees...

I had a truly wonderful stay here. The staff we met were all as polite and helpful as the last. We talked with them at breakfast and they were great, The hotel itself is very clean and spacious. The drinks, espresso and food is all included in the bill and they insist you make yourself at home. In the morning...

I stayed here for one night in June 2013. I was in Rome a week earlier and this property was not available for my first passage. Boy was I happy to stay here the second time around. First, it is literally steps from the ottaviano metro. Can't beat that. Very close to the Vatican, and not too far walking from...

St Peter's Guest House is a two minute walk from Ottaviano Metro Station and a five minute walk from Vatican City, so is a perfect location for sight seeing. It is a converted grand apartment and comprises four double bedrooms with ensuite facilities. We asked for a quiet room and were given 'Michelangelo' which was absolutely perfect, overlooking the courtyard...

No doubt about it, this place has been one of the best experiences ever in terms of accomodation. Roma would not have been as enjoyable as it was without the beautiful rooms in the centre of Rome. Literally 10 mins away from the Vatican and with excellent connections throughout the city. Super clean and friendly with better facilities and friendlier...

We were blown away by this guesthouse! Our room (for family of 4) was beautiful - although the children slept on the sleeper-couch, it was very comfortable and a treat to have 2 TV's (pity we only read a review about the English option menu once we were back home!) Staff were exceptional, free snacks and drinks were amazing and...

My daughter and I spent 5 days at St. Peter Guest House and found the location and service superb. The staff was friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Guests can find fresh fruit, water, juices and a variety of special treats 24/7, a great feature (all included in the rental cost)when you want to go on early Rome excursions and arrive...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“All rooms are great, we chose one in the rear at our daughter's advice as she lives in the building in a front facing room. Though not a busy street, she thought we'd enjoy the quiet in the rear, overlooking the courtyard, which wasn't lavish ... actually very simple as the rest of the building are upscale homes, and balconies are used for drying clothes as dryers are unheard of in Italy.”
