We arrived late at night (1h30) and truth is this 24h reception was very practical. The place is ok but is no gem. Room was clean but needs little painting to cover some marks. Biggest issue for us was the fact that the high window's curtains would not close properly, letting light enter in the morning and preventing us from...

Infinity Hotel St. Peter is a decent choice to stay in Rome. It's 10 minutes away from a metro station (walking) and very close to the Vatican. There are some fantastic restaurants too - I highly recommend Ristorante Joseph. Haven't seen a single tourist there, yet the restaurant was packed with locals! The hotel breakfasts are ok. Service is great...

We arrived early and we were dealt with quickly by reception. The hotel is very close to the Vatican, 5 minutes walk. As for outside its a typical city centre hotel. The first room we were given was too small, more of a single room. Spoke to reception who were happy to give us a bigger room. The room was...

This hotel had such high ratings that we were not even hesitant to book it. When we arrived, the location was great. A literal 5 minute walk to the Vatican and local fare all around. It was near taxi stands, buses, etc. Well that was the only plus. We walked into our room and I wanted to immediately leave. The...

For the first time in my life I have such a terrible service, and I travel a lot all around the world. We were traveling with my mother the Christmas week, 3 days stay in this hotel. We checked in at 9 oçlock in the morning. The girl on the reception / Lilyana, not sure about the name/ in first...

hotel is situated in a prime location only two blocks from the metro station and two blocks from Vatican City. Even though it was such a good location hotel is still very quiet. Reception staff very helpful with recommendations of restaurants and directions to sights throughout the city. Rooms very clean, few marks on the wall from shoes or suitcases...

When Americans come to Rome many think they will get the normal, USA type hotel room -- large and spacious. In most cases, that's not what you will find, especially in the older areas of The Eternal City. Hotel rooms are much smaller with the idea that it's there for you to sleep in and get cleaned up in, not...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
