Adriana e Felice is in a beautiful location, next to the Santa Maria Maggiore. Closest metro station is Vittorio Emanuele. Felice the owner is very attentive and a great host. Room was beautifully decorated with two single beds, double wardrobe, little round table, two chairs, side table with a mirror, little fridge, coffee machine and a kettle with selection of... More

Felice is an Accommodating, Professional, Knowledgeable & Exemplary host!! The BNB is perfectly located near ALL amenities, it is immaculately presented, private & quiet despite its central location. Our trip to Rome was enhanced because of our accommodations here!! Book here with confidence 😊

If you have to spend one night in Roma and you don't know where to go, stop looking further and go to this truly awesome bed & breakfast! The location is perfect : near the central train station, near a metro station, near a nice basilica, only a 15min walk to the coliseum. you will only have to take the... More

My husband and I booked a room on the recommendation from friends that had visited in the past. We stayed for two nights and were very happy with the accommodations. Felice is very welcoming and accommodating. We had an early tour one morning and he arranged for our breakfast at an earlier time than the normal serving time so as... More

We stayed for five days at "Adriana E Felice", and enjoyed it very very much. After very busy days roaming around Rome, it was really great to be able to come back to our quiet and comfortable room ! The location is not right in the center, but very convenient for the metro and less than 5 minutes walk from... More

This is our second stay with Felice - four years apart both we stayed two nights. Steep stairs up to the premises and the rooms are small. However they are well appointed. Excellent barhroom. The breakfast is adequate but the bill for central Rome is small!

I enjoyed my stay, great location to see the city and a bargain price compared to hotels. The room had everything needed, including wifi (and TV, not that I watched any) The en suite was good and clean. Best of all I could not have asked for a friendlier host. The setup was almost to me like a small hotel,... More

I stayed Felice's place for 5 days. It is very close from basilica St. Maria Maggiore and Termini station. Colosseo, Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are also in walking distance. Adriana and Felice were so nice. I miss them already. Their room is cozy and clean and foremost, breakfast with coffee was incredible. I highly recommend this place for your... More

My wife and I came from Canada into Rome which can be a bit intimidating. It was so nice to find this hotel. This place really exceeded our expectations. The location is great as it's right near the main train station and also just down the street from the metro station (Vittorio Emanuele station). It's also within walking distance of... More

When a 3 star hotel can cost nearly 200 euros a night in Rome why would you bother when you can have a room at Adriana e Felice for much less and be looked after by a knowledgeable and caring host. A comfortable bed, hot shower, mini fridge, good breakfast served at the time you want it and security behind... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“My wife and I stayed in room No. 1 which we think is the best, but all are fine with no significant issues. My three teenage sons shared Room 2 in 3 single beds and were fine.”

“This is not a room tip, but just a couple of tips for Rome. 1. Buy tickets on line for the big attractions - especially the Vatican & the colosseum. When we went the queues out the front for the ticket offices were enormous. 2. For the colosseum, if you don't buy on line, there is no need to line up for over an hour in front of the colosseum to get a ticket. Nor do you need to pay a tout EUR15 (on top of admission) to jump the queue & join a group tour. Instead, just go up to the Forum ticket office which is just up the road. There you can get the entry ticket for the Forum, the Colosseum & the Palatino (it's one ticket for all three sites). Then you can just walk back through the Forum to the colosseum & get straight in. We also did a EUR 5 tour of the forum (organised by the site) 3. Since I went in 2008, there has been a huge increase in the number of people begging for money. There are many schemes including the man who gives your wife or kids a 'free' rose, the lady who is stranded at termini station who needs a Euro to get home (who you will notice later is dragging around an empty case), and, the man who wants to know if you speak english before he gives you a dodgy note or story. My advice is to just not engage these people in any way. Just say 'no thanks' and keep walking.”
