We travelled as a group of 4- 2 couples to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. The location of the hotel could not be better. It is within a few minutes walking distance of many of Rome's main attractions which was great and very helpful as I currently have a broken leg and am on crutches. Most of the staff in the... More

A great small Hotel with very nice rooms. Excellet location close to Rome’s major atractions, walking distance. We did our check out and took a car service to Civitaveccia to get on a cruise. But the best is yet to come, once we did our cruise check in and were on board the ship, my wife noticed she had left... More

The location is great- located 3 min. walking from Fontana de Trevi and the Spanich Stairs. As far as I understand, the hotel got renovated and old rooms. We got an old room. The bathroom was very small, the water strem was horrible. The shower had mold and closing the shower door was almost impossible. The people at the reception... More

This is avery good hotel if you get the rooms you see in the pictures. Grate location, very good breakfast, Free printer in the loby. But if you get the rooms in the old wing, what they call the swiss wing, you will get a very old 2 star room. I've looked again in my resevation and diden't find any... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. Everything is very good-the breakfast, the room, the hotel itself and the location was the best- right in the center of everything and a minute from trevi fountain. Very good city center hotel, our room was modern and nice. The only disadvantage is the wifi, yes it's free but it doesn't really work good, one... More

We spent 5 nights. The good: great breakfast selection, excellent location, hotel in good repair, quiet, clean, great water pressure. The less than good: wifi went from marginal to terrible. Room very tight. Shower even smaller. Elevator typical European tiny (4 people) and maddeningly slow. TV remote(s) worked most of the time. Desk personnel just ok. Kind of ... 'what... More

This fairly small hotel, around 70 rooms, located within the walls, is walking distance from most of the "must visits" in Rome - within a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Shopping, Villa Borghese Park and Art Gallery, Trevi Fountain, and lots more.... Reception will do all they can to help you, the rooms are very clean and comfortable,... More

I stayed at the hotel during a business trip. The room was teeny. There was no iron for my suit and shirts which were crammed into my carry on suitcase. The internet didn't work in the room. It only worked in the lobby and was so slow that it was very difficult to do work. The front desk staff at... More

We booked a room in this hotel based on the pictures posted, the room we were given was nothing like them. To be fair, the lobby was very modern, front desk personnel we worked with were very helpful and friendly. And the location is great. That's where the pros end. Our room was on the 4th floor, we had to... More

We booked a standard room at this hotel for 3 nights. We arrived early and was offered an upgrade to a sister hotel (same group) with immediate check in "just down the road". We were walked to Spanish Art Hotel to collect our key and then across the road to a dark dingy building where on the first floor was... More

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
