We were incredibly impressed with the Albergo del Senato. We were celebrating an important event and the staff upgraded us to a room with a view of the Pantheon. The staff are very special people. They offer incredible customer service and provide just the right...More
The rooms are well appointed with everything you would expect. They may be a little small but that just makes the Pantheon (which you can see directly from your window) that much bigger. Try the rooftop patio for sundowners or after dinner drinks. Some pointers:...More
This is an excellent hotel, every bit as good as the reviews here suggest. Its location could not be better. You can walk pretty much everywhere in Rome, though there is a taxi rank in teh square if you need it. The hotel itself has...More
We stayed at Albergo del Senato for three nights before our cruise.

With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.

I am not sure specifically about those room types, but would suggest to go with larger one of those as the rooms in the hotel run on smaller side. Also location on higher floors is better as the piazza and side streets are noisy. Other than that the hotel is great.
The only one with a balcony that I know of was the one we stayed in 204. It was an average size but the view was awesome. Ask for the room and the management will be happy to help. The staff is awesome.

Yes, if the rooms are available, then this will be okay. Pick up from the airport is nice and easy, and far better than battling with queuing etc. It cost me 60 Euros each way for the limo last year so I shouldn't think that... More
Yes, if the rooms are available, then this will be okay. Pick up from the airport is nice and easy, and far better than battling with queuing etc. It cost me 60 Euros each way for the limo last year so I shouldn't think that will have changed; not sure what a regular cab would cost. If you're thinking about a room overlooking the Pantheon, read what people have said about noise.
