Hotel's Favourite
This hotel is one of my favorites. Even thought the rooms are small, the view of the pantheon was amazing. If available, ask for the room with the balcony. The staff were very professional but yet kind and helpful. After just staying there for a couple days, we were recognized the minute we entered and greeted by the front desk. The breakfast was tasty and the location could not be beat.

We stayed at Albergo del Senato at the beginning of February. It was our second stay there and after 2 years we can say it was definitely worth it. Great location in the very heart of Rome, just next to the Pantheon , superb staff is always very friendly and extremely helpful, tasty breakfasts and comfortable, well maintained rooms. This time we stayed in a superior room and got the one with the balcony just over the main entrance! We are definitely going to stay there again when we are back in Rome.

We truly enjoyed our stay here, in the heart of Rome (literally on the stairs of the Pantheon). The hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, although they let people use the gluten free utencils to pick it regular food so one in our travelling company with celiac disease got sick. Altogether a great experience, would definitely recommend it!

Dear Guest, As always we thank you for taking the time to write an opinion about the service in our hotel. It enjoys me to learn that you had a pleasant stay but if you don’t mind I would like to receive more detailed information regarding the happening during the breakfast. Since we have all single-portion products for celiac disease it seems strange to me that someone get sick and if we need to take steps to improve the service, I would be grateful to receive suggestions in this regard. For your information, we already provide with single-portion napkin cutlery. With Kind Regards Ann Johansson a.johansson@albergodelsenato.it Deputy Manager

Stayed here for 4 nights and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish, the reception was warm, welcoming and informative without being too much. The room was spotless, the bed extremely comfortable and the linens pristine. The air conditioning worked well and was extremely quiet. We had a fabulous view overlooking the Piazza del Pantheon and it was great to see the change in activity from morning to late night. We went to the roof top terrace on one occasion, great views over the city and excellent drinks, the only slight disappointment was how quiet it was (obviously due to Covid) so no real ambience from having other guests there. We will be back when hopefully this will be a better experience. The terrace bar is for hotel guests only. The location is perfect, we walked everywhere from the hotel, we are walkers so 25 mins to the Colosseum or Vatican City was no problem. Covid measures were there but unobtrusive, being served breakfast at the table instead of self serve was no issue, we had an amazing server (Serena I think, she has short dark hair) most days who you could see smiling behind her mask and even singing on occasions, she was such a delight and asset to this hotel. We have only two tiny negatives about the bathrooms, the shower is in the bath tub and the floor can get slippy, and when climbing out of the bath, a handle on the wall would be helpful. We are both mobile but a slippy floor and nothing to grab hold of could be a recipe for disaster (the shower screen is not fixed). We will definitely return to Rome and would only consider staying at this hotel in future.
