    Smack in the middle of everything! Vatican 1 mile away, Colosseum 1 mile away! Staff very helpful CAPPUCINO at breakfast! Cab from hotel to FCO 45 euros. Room and bathroom are roomier than you typcillay see.

    Over the past 15 years we have stayed at the Portoghesi numerous times, and the experience has always been good. The standard rooms are small but efficient, the junior suites a more roomy choice for a slightly higher price--well worth it especially for longer stays....More

    No. The nearest one is at Piazza di Spagna, a 10 minute walk.

    There its only one way to go reliably, taxi. Ask the front desk to arrange time and cab, they are very expert and accommodating. I don't recall exactly what the fee was, but worth it.
