We had two rooms. The rooms were average size for Rome. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great location, love eating pizza looking at the Pantheon. Small restaurants nearby, walking distance to many sites. This was our second stay here. Only news and sports...More
We have been staying here since it was a "budget hotel". Now we stay with our 17-year old son in the tower suite with a lovely terrace. It never disappoints: clean/spacious rooms, in a perfect location.
This hotel is very conveniently located to one of the most beautiful piazzas in Rome, Navonna. We had an excellent staff member, David who gave us great suggestions on restaurants like Alfredos (where they say they invented the dish) to stunning points of interests to...More
You get 4-star hotel treatment here--professional, courteous, top notch. Tasteful and clean hotel--our junior suite felt grand. Copious bathroom--after knocking things over every time I moved in the other hotel bathrooms of Europe, the generous size was so welcome. Can't imagine a better location. Will...More
We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Portoghesi! It is in an excellent location- we could walk anywhere, as it was central to everything. The staff was very helpful tending to our questions and requests, and they referred us to some local, outstanding restaurants as...More
With three of Rome’s most beloved piazzas within a five-minute walk of each other, the Navona/Pantheon/Campo area may be the prettiest and most picturesque area of the city. Join the beautiful throngs hanging out in cafes, boutiques, art galleries, and wine bars, or peek at a neighbourhood museum or monument. If you want nonstop movida, the streets here are busy with chic bicyclists and Vespa
drivers, street vendors, merchants, and locals. There is no rhyme or reason to its winding streets and there's something to see around every corner, so take pleasure in a spontaneous wander.
