Nice rooms, quite spacious with a simple bathroom with Shower. Location is ideal for travelling and sightseeing around Rome, directly opposite the Colusseum, which provided a wonderful view when eating in the cafe downstairs. We used it as a base while visiting, so the room was more than sufficient. Breakfast was continental, served in the cafe downstairs, with tasty pastries...

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mum for a city break in January 2017. Room wasn't ready on arrival but luggage was kept there and we went sightseeing and for lunch, on return room was ready. However it took us a while to find the manager as the reception desk is not always manned as it is a small...

This boutique B&B is perfectly located besides the Colosseum and hence well connected to buses and the metro. Rooms are eclectic and modern, which is an interesting contrast to the outside of the building. It should be noted that the reception area is extremely small (just a reception desk), which is physically not manned at night. The manager is extremely...

The website looks amazing and although this place has some good reviews, sadly I cannot rate this accommodation good. I emailed beforehand and asked about airport transfers and had no reply. Upon arrival, the manager was very nice and welcoming but that was the only good part about the stay. The room wasn’t good at all. Broken shelf in the...

One of the best stay in Rome, beat location a 2 mn wall from the colosseum, a 5 minutes walk from the Metro station and a taxi station. The value for money is amazing and the guys are very helpful . Highly recommended

We booked three nights for a Deluxe room and only stayed for one night. The room was next to reception. First, the positives: room is modern and well designed, bathroom size is fine. Very close to Colosseum which you can view when you lean a bit from the window. Breakfast was nice enough too. The negatives: - No lift to...

We stayed at Second Floor for 8 nights during our take-it-easy week in Rome. It's a hidden gem half a block away from the Colosseum. The room was chic and functional. Ludus Magnus was right outside our window. Andrea, the manager, is charming and very helpful with great advice, and the guys at the bar where they serve breakfast were...

Never having been to Rome we did not know the most convenient place to stay that was quality and economical. We could not have asked for a better place, host, or location. We ate every morning downstairs (included) looking at the Colosseum, and the night life downstairs had us meeting people from all around the world. After a few days...

2nd Floor was a great place to stay. Even with four people to one room, they were more than willing to help us. They had extra cots set up and each had towels and chocolate. Management was friendly and very helpful. Super friendly staff and they even helped up find things. Free breakfast is offered to hotel guest in the...
