Myself and three friends stayed on the on weekend in March. the room was fine and the location was excellent. The staff were devoid of interpersonal skills and before I left my MP3 player was stolen from my room. Upon reporting this to the staff they assured me it was a family hotel and that it was impossible for something...

I agree with other reviews about the position and cleanliness, and the shower was very good. Our twin room was tiny with 70cm beds, which is as wide as a baby's cot, so beware if you are not tiny! The aircon costs 15 euros per day and must be prebooked (it was disconnected in our room) and is a must...

The location is great, just five minutes from Roma Termini. We walked almost everywhere in the city, but the metro is close for those who prefer public transit. There's no breakfast, but two bars (cafes) on either side, both with cappuccino for a euro. The area feels very safe, even walking around at night felt fine. The room was very...

Very clean ( everyday housekeeping), and cheap. Very close to Termini station, but not noisy at all. Great stay and very chearful management. What a pity no breakfast, but there are two bars just down in the street. Strategically valuable to reach any destination, monuments, airport (Terravision bus stop at walking distance) etc . Very good stay and move.

Great location. Clean. Not too noisy (considering it's only 2 to 3 blocks from termini central station) + you'll find all you need at termini. We have a double room on the 5th floor and are quite pleased. You'll be greeted with a smile by Marco at the front desk (on the 3rd floor) and will get a map with...

We stayed at this place for just one night after the cruise we went on, It was only a couple of hundred yards from the train station. We were quite taken aback because it looks just like an old house and it was on the third floor (there is a lift) - Upon entering, we were pleasantly greeted by the...

Five minutes' walk from Termini Station, we first stayed at Euro Queris with our three teens for 5 nights in a large family room in August 2006. Even then (before more recent painting and refurbishment), our room was clean (housekeeper in every day), large, bright (large windows), airy (french doors to a balcony) and we had a clean, fully tiled...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
