The bed and breakfast was in a very good location, where we were 10-20 minutes walk from most of the main attractions. We were greeted by a very lovely taxi driver that took us to and from the airport, he also recommended different types of restaurants we should visit during our stay. The continental breakfast was served between 8-10 in...

I booked this bed and breakfast based on reviews and its location. The reviews were a bit misleading, but the location was fabulous. The ad for the b and b said staff could pick you up at the airport (for more than the normal taxi fee) and there was free pick up from the train station- Stazione Termini. When I...

Except location nothing is an advantage in that b&b. We came to Rome towards the evening and our aim was to arrive to a place that is open 24/7 , instead we set in the street and waited for the guy that is giving the key for almost two hours!!! When we dared to complain, he bleimed it on the...

If you're a budget traveler, this is perfect. It's on a busy little street between the Campo and Largo Argentina, so you're in decent walking distance of the sites you want to see and you can easily take the bus there from the train station. You schedule a meeting with the hostess when you book your room. We arrived early...

We received a very warm reception from Roxane who looked after us. Right in the center of "old" rome - even us oldies walked almost everywhere! Our rooms were big, basic & very comfortable. The communal kitchen was fully equipped with coffee/tea/cakes/butter/milk etc. always on hand. Very good value for money, am recommending it to everyone who wants a reasonably...

The first time I stayed at that hotel, I was overwhelmed by the charm, the friendliness of the hosts and the fantastic location. I would have given it a "VERY GOOD". The last time, I was disappointed– we set an appointment, but the guy to receive us was an hour late (!), the breakfast (that used to include fresh bread,...

Perfect location, you get exactly what you see, the photos are very accurate! Everything is basically within walking distance, we didnt use transport once while we were there. The hotel was clean but basic, rooms were quite small.

Position is unbelievably good, but the building is really old and almost creepy and it was not cheap for a solo traveller(69 eur/night..). Very good for a no-frills weekend stay for young people,

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
