Safe neighborhood, located near many shops and restaurants at the top of via nazionale. On my next trip I would like to stay closer to Piazza Navona or The trevi fountain, but this was a nice place for what we needed it for. On our...More
We stayed at iQ Hotel Roma for 2 nights during the last leg of our Italy vacation. The hotel is modern, clean and the rooms were much larger than I had expected for downtown Rome. The hotel was in a great location (somewhat central to...More

IQ hotel has a great location in central Rome. It's an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The also helped arrange diner and car service for us! Great stay!

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
