It was my second time at IQ Hotel in Rome . I stayed for 3 nights this time. It's a great little hotel with the best setting close to the central station and with a Metro-station only 2 minuttes away. And I must say, that it is about the cleanest hotel I've ever been to! Staff is very friendly and...

We just got back from our trip a couple of weeks ago and the IQ Hotel Roma was just perfect. The location is excellent, close to many bus lines and metro, and also about 1km from the Fontana di Trevi, which is not far when you're sightseeing. Spotlessly clean, modern rooms with a huge bathroom (with tub), empty fridge for...

This affordable gem was located in the heart of Rome, making it easy to walk everywhere. Our room was quite large, even by American standards, and the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to buy our Roma pass from the front desk. The hotel was clean and the 10 Euro breakfast offered was very good....

Good, modern Hotel in the city centre of Rome. All attractions are reachable by foot, this is very convenient! The Hotel is clean, modern and bright. The beds are good and the breakfast even better. Excellent WiFi signal is available throughout the Hotel. The staff is friendly and always there to help. One negative: the windows are not really 100%...

A very nice hotel within a short walk from Roma Termini. Very modern furnishing, clean, and bright room off a quiet street yet very close to some good restaurants and pizzerias. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay there again next time when in Rome.

Clean, tidy hotel near Termini station in Rome. Had no problems at all. It's not top end or boutique but simply appears like an average chain hotel which is v comfortable & makes the best of what it has. Rooms decent size, reception helpful, WiFi good. Décor bit uninspiring maybe, but overall this place ticks all the boxes if you...

Dear Guest, We are glad to understand that your overall stay with us was pleasant and that you have especially appreciated our cleanliness. As for your considerations about our concept and décor, we are sorry to learn that although this has been widely explained on our selling websites and on previous occasions here on TripAdvisor, we did not manage to...

It is a very clean (it was a surprise that we had clean towels and sheets every day), simply decorated and absolutely clever hotel. We loved the all day roof garden. The self service machines are very useful. There was a great variety of choices at the breakfast. Polite staff and convenient location, even if you choose to walk or...

The hotel is very well located. It takes merely five minutes’ to reach the Termini station. The room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the Rome opera. The room was decorated with thick carpet and the beds were really comfortable. Each room had complementary toiletries with satellite TV, high speed internet and a mini fridge where you can keep all...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna.
