IQ is a hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna. We believe in tailor-made hospitality, so there are vending machines in virtually every floor, where you can buy yourself a bottle of wine, a pack of crisps, a tooth-brush or even an umbrella (not that you'll need it often!), All at very competitive prices. Now that you've found us... Welcome to a whole new hotel experience! IQ STAFF

You will not find a better hotel in Rome - the staff was amazing, the breakfast was 'wow', the room was sparkling clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient. The spa/massage next door was a plus. We took the cooking class offered by the hotel and had fun creating our pasta - better yet, enjoying what we prepared with a fine glass of wine - a must do! Last but not least, a special thanks to Doreen & Fabiana (at the front desk ) for assisting us in so many ways. Without these two ladies - our visit would have been ruined. Right from the get go, after learning that Delta lost our luggage, they took charge. We arrived Saturday morning and after their research, we had to return to the airport on Sunday evening to retrieve our bags for our 11 day cruise the next morning. These two ladies went above & beyond to assist us. Trust me, you'll love this hotel and staff too. Don't forget the dining/bar on the rooftop - we had two drinks and once again, the service was impeccable.

This hotel is right across the road from the Opera house. A few minutes walk to a supermarket, train station and all the tourist attractions you need to see in Rome. The staff at this hotel are amazing. Veronica on front desk went out of her way to help and her customer service and advice was brilliant. Every worker in this hotel went out of the way to help and make you feel welcome. Even the people cleaning our room would leave extra water and biscuits for my children. No hotel has ever done that. We had dinner in the restaurant 4 nights in a row because although they were small portions (which all of Rome is like) it was really nice. Breakfast each morning was also well stocked and lots of variety. The restaurant was a great place to relax in the evening and it was a very stylish and eclectic looking place. The rooms are rather large and have a bright airy feeling. There are two washing machines and driers at the hotel and for a family of 6 it was brilliant. There are also drink and snack machines throughout the hotel. Downstairs there is a small playground and computers in the lobby for guests to use. When coming to Rome, I definitely wouldn't stay anywhere else. The hotel is extremely clean, arty looking and perfect. The area is a safe area and you felt comfortable walking the streets at night.

We are at the hotel at the moment. It’s clean, modern & comfortable. Free water is placed in the room fridge every day, there are tea & coffee making facilities including biscuits. The shower is great & there are USB ports for charging phones in the room. Breakfast is included & is really nice...cooked English, omelette to order & the usual cereals, cold meats, yoghurt, fruit etc & it’s spotlessly clean with great coffee. At night the breakfast room turns into a bar which is cool & modern & very reasonably priced for a hotel in the middle of a major city. It’s situated next to the opera house & walking distance to everything ( except the Vatican which is 5 stops on the nearby metro). Would highly recommend !

We recently returned from a 4 night stay and I highly recommend the hotel if you’re visiting Rome. The location opposite the opera house was very pleasant and we found the main sights easy to walk to from the hotel. On a couple of evenings, we took a taxi for quickness, ordered by the front desk and they came straight away and were very reasonably priced. The staff on reception were fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful. Special thanks to Emilio, Doreen and Giodono.
Our room was well equipped and serviced, the bathroom was really spacious with a powerful shower and amenities, air conditioning was cold and quiet (a must in Aug!) - room met all our expectations. Free bottled water re-stocked everyday was a great bonus, along with snacks and free welcome drinks in the bar was a lovely touch also. We had breakfast included in our rate and this was excellent. Lots of choice, excellent quality and a really nice setting. We used the rooftop terrace as my son loved the table football, really nice to be able to sit outside and relax after a day of sightseeing. All in all a wonderful stay, thanks IQ Hotels Roma!

I was really impressed by my stay here in Rome. It's centrally located and there are washer and dryers you can use (for 5 euro each - the detergent is automatically dispensed and you exchange for a token at the front desk). My husband and I wanted to make reservations at a local restaurant the first day we arrived. I sent a message through their website while we were out and Giuseppe came through and made it for us for that evening! I thought it was a long shot because this restaurant is quite busy. I cannot thank Giuseppe enough. He was really nice about it and even spoke with the restaurant when they were confused about the reservation. I think a Whatsapp number would make the process a bit easier but overall I was very pleased with everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I would not hesitate to come back again!

High level service, the location is a 15-minute walk from the main sites, you can purchase a ticket for a very close bus stop at the reception. A pampering room, and the price is cheap for a hotel of this level, in short, you won't regret it..

This is a fabulous hotel. Everything from arrival to departure. This Hotel is spotless. It's very quiet in Rome at the moment and worrying for staff in the tourism industry but everyone here had a smile at all times. Water, tea/coffee, biscuits and a fridge all provided. All toiletries & anything you forget they will provide. You can borrow a normal powerful hairdryer from Reception which was great.
Beds are huge. Room lovely and cosy. Cleaned each day. They even folded my Nightdress for me!!!
The breakfast was fantastic each day, such a spread of food !! Fruit of every kind, yogurts, cold meats, cheeses, granola, hot buffet with about 10 choices, little pots of Nutella, jams, various choices of breads, croissants etc etc........
The bar at night was lovely and relaxing. We didn't use the rooftop as it was cold at night.
They have beauty rooms which I didnt use unfortunately as I had not enough time.
We took the train from FCO to Termini and the hotel is only 10 min walk from here. It's very accessible also for the hop on hop off bus which we used as a method of transport for the 3 days.
They also have a wifi printer which auto appears when you want to print your boarding passes - very impressive.
I will be returning. If you want a nice clean relaxing and good value hotel in Rome, dont waste any more time searching, book this. It's perfect.

IQhotel has Modern architecture, caring for all guest comfort details, silent room's, most clean sheets and bathroom, most tasty breakfast and also dinner in the unique roof top.
The hotel is located in central place right near the opera house - enabling us to walk to tourist attractions.
We recommend on IQhotel which worth every cost invested!!

Spent 2 nights in Rome, mid January 2023 and stayed with the IQ Roma. Location is excellent - less than 10 mins walk from Roma Tremini station and 5 mins from Republicca Metro.

The hotel is maintained to a very high standard. Rooms were a good size and decorated tastefully. We also had a balcony.

There is a restaurant and bar on site but we didn’t eat in as we ventured out to the city in the evenings. There was also a vending machine on our floor which sever both snacks and another with wine/beer which was also reasonably priced.

Breakfast was superb and well worth adding to your reservation - it was included when I booked and was very happy that I opted for it. Everything you could need from cereal / fruit to pastries and cooked food. Orange Juice was freshly squeezed and all hot drinks available.

I would not hesitate to stay here again so would def recommend.

My first trip to Rome, and truly glad to have stayed at this wonderful hotel. It’s around 15mins walk from the central train station, making it so easy to travel in and back to the airport. It’s also very popular on TA and I can understand why, everything was working well, bedding was comfortable and located in a charming area of the city.

IQ hotel is close to the colosseum and one can walk there, and on to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps and so forth. Overall, a very walkable part of the city, but you do need to take the subway if you like to visit the Vatican City.

Breakfast room is on the top floor of the hotel, it’s not a large spread but truly sufficient, and good variety. Housekeeping service was very good too and everything was well maintained and very clean. This building is also wonderfully restored and I think it’s nice for the owner to have done so. The gentlemen at the front desk are all super kind and helpful, tours. An be arranged at the front desk too. I especially like to thank Robert for helping with all my queries.

I would love to return to this hotel when visiting Roma again.

Yes it is, we didn't catch it because all the things we wanted to see were within walking distance from the IQ hotel but the hop on hop off stop is only about 5 minutes away

We had to be at the Vatican entrance by 7:30 and we were at the door to breakdasf a few before 7 and grabbed a few things and hopped in a cab. It went fine for us. Enjoy your trip!

We used our cellphones. We just walked over to the train station, purchased the tickets to the station near the hotel. Again, we used google maps for the nearest station. You can also call the hotel to find out. The train is nice and clean. Hotel is walking distance, 10 min walk. You can go to the train station website to find out the ticket price. It was probably half the price we would have paid for hotel transportation for 3 of us. I hope this helps.
Answer from Simona_Scocco
Hello, just leave a note on your reservation and we will assign a room with two beds. In alternative, just send us an email and we will take care of it. Kind regards. Simona - Resident MAnager
Answer from Simona_Scocco
Dear Fay P, Sorry to read this, it is not our standard not to answer to emails in a quick and efficient manner. Most probably there is some kind of technical fault somewhere. Please check our email address and try again to write to us. Regarding your question, it is not clear what you are referring to. If it is restaurants, there are quite few in the area that we can suggest to you, same for shops or places to visit. If we cannot manage to communicate through emails, the staff at our Welcome Desk will be able to give you all the requested information at check in. We look forward to welcoming you here next week. Kind regards. Simona Scocco Resident Manager
