Stayed here for 5 nights, the hotel was clean & very tech savvy. There was a gym & coin operated laundry facilities - which was very helpful for the last leg of our trip! The wifi was very good & the hotel provided free water bottles everyday, which was a nice surprise. It was very close to Termini station, a...

Good clean hotel with friendly staff in a good location. Quiet comfortable rooms. Hotel is within walking distance to Termini station. We tried the breakfast that was reasonable priced and had something for everyone. Loved the self service machines and the laundry room. The hotel was modern tucked down a small street off Nationale. The staff was great and the hotel was very clean. Unfortunately, the beds were not soft at all but the location and the morning breakfast made up for any issues. I will stay there again when I go to Rome! My only suggestion would be to get better beds.

Dear Tamika, thank you for choosing to spend such a special birthday with us and for taking the time to share your experience with all Tripadvisor readers. Regarding the bed comfort, we could have easily resolved the issue had you shared the problem with our Welcome Desk. The housekeeping team can add a foam topper to soften the mattress. We...

Stayed here in early January 2017. The Hotel is located just off the Via Nazionale and such is ideally located for many of Rome's Main attractions. The Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and The Colosseum are all within a 15 Minute walk once you have gained your bearings! The Hotel is absolutely spotless and represents extremely good value for money. Our...

We were a party of 4, stayed at IQ hotel for the first week of January this year. The property itself was wonderful, spotlessly clean, furniture and bathrooms all looked new. Breakfast buffet was plentiful, they had a good selection of breakfast foods, pastries, fruits, a fresh orange juice machine and a yogurt machine. It was really easy to request...

If I could give this place more stars I would. Got in at CIA airport at nearly 1am. Got our bags around 1:30. There was a delay with our airline (thanks Ryanair, budget airline problems) so since we arrived so late we missed the bus that takes us to Termini, which would have been a short walk to the hotel....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

IQ is a 4-star hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna. We believe in tailor-made hospitality, so there are vending machines in virtually every floor, where you can buy yourself a bottle of wine, a pack of crisps, a tooth-brush or even an umbrella (not that you'll need it often!), All at very competitive prices.
