This is a modern hotel. Next door to the Opera. We stayed one night and it was an awesome experience. The bed is comfortable and so were the pillows. The room had a mini-fridge and a hot water pot. And the TV picked up a few channels in English! If staying here, get the breakfast buffet. You will not regret...

This hotel serves breakfast and dinner, has a gym and good sized rooms right in the centre of Rome. It's a 15 minute walk from the colosseum, forum and Palentine hill and is only a 30 minute walk from beautiful views around the Spanish steps. You can easily reach every main attraction within a 45 minute walk with the furthest...

Nice rooms at a decent price only 12 minutes walk to Trajan's column end of Foro Romana area, and Trevi Fountain. Rooms seem clean and relatively new. As a boutique hotel, it has a small lobby, but the rooms themselves are good for 1-2 people and have a cozy modern feel.

Ok y'all; I had to wait almost a year just calm down enough to write an honest review. I have stayed at the iQ seven years in a row and all has gone well until last April. Upon arrival I discovered that, for whatever reason, I had been doubled booked. Now, you would think this a minor problem. Someone along...

This hotel WOWed us from the moment we arrived. Attentive staff, a wonderful room, bonus facilities and a short walk from Roma Termini! The room is quite spacious and well thought out. There is plenty of storage and everything you could need! The bed is a huge king size and the staff were more than happy to change the mattress...

Well located hotel for all the major sights in Rome, easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Short walk from Termini station (around 10 mins). Rooms were clean and comfortable, free bottled water however aside from the bottles available at arrival this wasn't replenished. The courtyard is a nice feature however the noises from people...

Location is handy- walkable distance to nice food and sights. Near the train station too. Appreciated the rooftop playground area where our kids could run around. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. We were happy with our time here & we will return.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. Ms Veronica although a trainee was excellent on giving us every bit of information about what we need to know about the hotel. All the staff from the concierge, the house keeping and restaurant were very accomodating. The breakfast was something to look forward every morning. The hotel is just few...

We stayed in many older places, Air BnBs, and experienced "reality" while in Italy. Staying our last two days in a modern, clean, customer-service driven hotel was awesome and a nice change. They have EVERYTHING and even free water in our room was quite a nice surprise. It was late when we got in, and their restaurant and roof top...

One of the best features of this hotel is the location. It is a 10-15 minute walk from Rome Termini station and a 10 minute walk from the Repubblica metro station. We arrived about an hour before check in, but were allowed into the room quickly and with no problems. The hotel itself was very modern and stylish. The room...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
