The Bernini House was our first stop after arriving in Italy. We had our three teenage girls with us and it was the perfect place at a reasonable rate. It's walking distance to the Vatican City, and the bus stop is across the street where you can visit the Colosseum and other attractions. Big, roomy and the management staff offsite...

our apartment was the smallest one pros: location, cozyness and peacefulness of the apartment, the opportunity to stay in the apartment till 6 p.m., owner very friendly cons: no daily change of towels, toilet seat needs to be changed, kitchenware could be more clean, hairdrier unexplicably removed from the room one day and the owner ( not resident in the...

Central location between the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain in quiet street. Access to all public transport. Great welcome on arrival. Apartment Giotto is stunning, apparently lived in by famous sculptor Berlini. Decor immaculate, furnishings quality and accommodation great for 4. Could do with a couple of soft seats in lounge area, but no real hassle. Nice touch on our...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
