Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my recent trip to Italy. I thought the rooms were great. This being my first time in Italy I didn't have anything to compare this too. Well, after staying in 8 different hotels this was by far one of my favorites as far as rooms and location. The rooms are very modern...

Room is a bit noisy (rm 319) due to close proximity to the tram lines. 3 min walk from the termini station which links the colosseum and vatican. took us 20 mins from hotel door to the colosseum ticketing booth, and 25 mins from hotel door to the vatican ticket booth. Both trips via the B and A lines respectively...

location, breakfast, reception, design, room service - everything was brilliantly. sometimes there's line for breakfast, but wasn't too disagreeable. Roma's railway station (Termini) is in 0.5 km from hotel, but we didn't have some noise or dirt.

We stayed here for a quick, two night stay before getting on a cruise at Civitavecchia. Una Hotel is a two-minute walk from Termini, which made it very convenient for taking the Leonardo Express from FCO and catching the local train to the port (saving a significant amount of money over a taxi or other transfer). Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
