Arrived on the Friday and were allowed early check-in, which meant we got plenty of site seeing in. Room was ok but perhaps not worth what we paid. Being our anniversary my husband emailed in advance to request champagne on ice, on our arrival, but unfortunately they forgot. Breakfast was excellent, the choice of pastries a little too good! On...

Dear guest Thank you for your review regarding your stay at UNA Hotel Roma, we greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. Referring to the request of champagne in the room, it was not a lapse but an intention, as we never received a reply to the quotation sent to your husband email; of course...

Perfectly located near train station, trams and busses and the metro. Very modern yet cosy hotel. Small but nicely decorated rooms and good breakfast bar. Couldn't pick a better hotel for this price!

...not sure why people keep commenting on the "not so nice location." Granted it is close to the train station, which in our opinion was a real plus, when faced with dragging our suitcases in the 96 degree temps in Rome the last week in June. However, we never once felt unsafe, even late at night, and I would not...

This was a really great hotel. We were upgraded to an executive room & it was huge by European standards. The breakfast buffet was great everything you could wish for , for breakfast, including about 7 different pastries. The location is great only a few hundred meters from the Roma Termini Station. The only thing that we could fault was...

This is my third visit to the hotel but for some reason the experience is not as good as it use to be. Maybe the hotel needs to renovate... I stayed a total of 4nights in the hotel for this trip and I could not get a good night sleep. Air conditioning is a basic requirement in any hotel specially...

What a nice surprise to find such an elegant hotel so close to the train station. Our room was very nice and quiet. We stayed there on our last day in Italy because of the location and was not expecting much, especially as we walked down a rather sketchy street to get to this hotel. The hotel was lovely, impeccably...

This was my second visit to Roma, it was a choice between the Radisson and the Una Hotel. We choose Una becuase it seemed to be in a better location, however we located Radisson and it was a further short walk away, probably about 5/6 minutes walk down from Termini. For monies worth the Radisson worked out a lot cheaper....

I stayed twice in this hotel, both times I used superior room. Rooms are clean, spacious and modernly decorated. Bathrooms are excellent. Reception is friendly and helpful. Restaurant for breakfast is ok. Location - I consider is as fine since the hotel is very close to Termini station and If you use Leonardo express from the airport you do not...

UNA Hotel was better than expected. We lived there for a week in June 2012. Attractive lobby and reception in both exterior and interior bearing property appears to be a good hotel. They had arranged it so that our rooms were very close to each other. The rooms are new and modern but slightly varied size. Good bed but some...

Nice hotel at first glance......but when actually in....more like a two star at four star prices. No amenities at all...no vending machines...no ice....no pool....no anything...terrible air conditioners...our first room was infested with ants...ok restaurants for breakfast. Location ok if you wish to be near Termini train station. Overall...after spending 2 nights sweating in this hotel...changing room 3 times...and spending 2...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
