Antonella was a great host. She provided tips about the location, tips on travel and local places to eat out. She was easily contactable, and during our stay, she ensured that we had everything we needed. We had forgotten that it was a self service breakfast but this worked well for us. We really appreciated the coffee machine. We were...

This wonderful B&B was perfectly situated 1 block from the Vatican and the Ottaviano Metro station. We also did a lot of walking from the B&B to the sights of Rome such as the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. The other sights were easy to get to with the Metro. Our room was clean and the right size for...

We stayed at this bed & breakfast in early August. Antonella, the owner, was wonderfully warm and helpful, giving us a map, showing us how to use the keys, suggesting good walks and restaurants, etc. She's not on site all the time, but we both used WhatsApp to communicate and that worked great. The B&B is on the 3rd floor...

Finding the right accommodations for a family of five (w/ three young school aged children) in Rome was very important. We needed something with a great location, clean and spacious room(s), and reasonably priced. Gli Scipioni met all of the above and more, especially with the friendliness and quality service that our host (Antonella) and her staff provided. The B&B...

We stayed here for four nights in May 2016 and have nothing but a good experience to report. Antonella arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport and drop us off at the B&B. The price was very reasonable. One of our group was pick pocketed and she was instrumental in coordinating the delivery of a replacement...

We stayed here for four nights this spring. The location is superb, just round the corner from the Vatican and a few minutes walk from a metro station. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the setup means that they have no problem with you helping yourself to food and/or drinks at any time during the day. There is a good...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
