Just came back for a 4 day trip in Rome. My husband and I stayed in the yellow room on the second floor at Residenza Torre Colonna. We loved it! The B&B was centrally located, as every other review had mentioned. We got local map and restaurant recommendations upon check-in. The gold-tone decor and painted ceiling was a perfect mixture...

Just returned today after a week stay in hotel. It is a fab location, a stone's throw from the Trevi fountain. My husband and I went to Rome for our honeymoon, I totally fell in love with Italy so he booked a surprise visit for our 5th anniversary. Alvin is exactly like all the reviews say, he is such a...

We spent one night here at the end of our honeymoon (which was mostly spent in Sardinia). Overall we had a nice stay, but we paid 275€ and at that price expected a bit more. Pros: -Location is perfect. Less than 10 minute walk to Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Spanish steps, and lots of nearby restaurants. -friendly service -good sized rooms...

Thank you, Albin to make the stay of my 80-year-old father and me unforgetable. We had a wonderful stay at a good rate. We loved it at your hotel - nice room, nice breakfast, great view on the roof, good location, very special to have a hotel in an old tower; Unique!

We loved our recent stay at the Residenza Torre Colonna. To be that close to the Roman Forum in a medieval tower, is an experience in itself. The bed and breakfast has been carefully designed with every modern feature, including an upscale shower in the rooms. The breakfast prepared by Alvin is delightful and complete, even with eggs. The situation...

Stayed at Torre Colonna for 2 nights in late August on the fourth floor. Whilst the room isn't large, it is spotlessly clean and comfortable. Alvin, the manager, is really helpful and is keen to sort out any issues you have. Breakfast is generous and fresh. The location is perfect, positioned roughly equidistant between Forum/Colosseum and Piazza Navona/Trevi/Pantheon, and the...

How can you not love staying in a medieval tower in the heart of Ancient Rome. Proximity to all sites, fantastic terrace view, quiet comfortable rooms, best breakfast anywhere. I would stay here again!

Spent 4 nights this week. Perfect location to see Rome. Great value. Nicely appointed, charming BandB. Rooms are small but well done. Little walk in closet makes up for the room size. Bathroom is great. Alvin the property manager was super. The breakfast was fresh and delicious every day. The only negative was the AC just didn't cool the room....

Had a great time staying at the Residenza Torre Colonna. The decor of this old medieval building is something to behold. The room equipped with a great bed, a modern jacuzzi bath, filled fridge, private safe and airco, is gorgeous, the beakfast excellent, the location perfect to explore ancient Rome. The view from the rooftop terrace is in itself priceless....

The service here was incredible. Friendly staff and very clean rooms! Amazing rooftop to relax in the evening with a bottle of wine, and a great view. It is waking distance of everything. Would definitely stay here again next time I am in Rome.

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
