We came back to Rome just to stay at this wonderful, boutique hotel. TheResidenza Torre Colonna is centrally located in the heart of Rome. It is a medieval tower that has been renovated into 5, unique guest rooms. Each floor hosts a different room, in a different color scheme. On the 6th floor is where the breakfast is served and...

We really enjoyed our recent 5 night stay at the Residenza Torre Coloana. I can second the other reviews - the people are warm and helpful, the rooms are very quiet, the breakfast is terrific, the location is great. Also, there is an elevator, which is most appreciated as the building is quite vertical. Sarah, the owner, is very informative...

... stay in the centre of everything. That is exactly what you'll do in the Residenza Torre Colonna. The Forum, the Capitol and the Piazza Venezia are just around the corner, - and the hotel has a charming roof terrace whence you can admire it all. It really is a medieval tower (some 900 years old, meant for defense and...

Dear SKruse, Thank you very much for your great review of Torre Colonna. We appreciate greatly reviews which indicate clearly to Tripadvisor Readers, who will hopefully become our future guests, what type of bed and breakfast we are so as to avoid misunderstandings. We spent five days at Torre Colonna in September. Sarah, the owner, arranged for cars to pick up my daughter & me and my husband at the airport (we arrived on different days). She graciously honored my request for the bedroom on the 5th floor, which we loved! The room is large but cozy. The beds were comfy, and the...

Just came back for a 4 day trip in Rome. My husband and I stayed in the yellow room on the second floor at Residenza Torre Colonna. We loved it! The B&B was centrally located, as every other review had mentioned. We got local map and restaurant recommendations upon check-in. The gold-tone decor and painted ceiling was a perfect mixture...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
