After visiting Rome couple of times this was my perfect stay at Casa Vicenza. Mr Francesco and his wife are extremely nice and very welcoming. The guest house is very clean and the location is perfect , only 5 minutes walk from Termini train station . Will surely stay at Casa Vicenza on my next visit to Rome.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the B & B is very close just a five minute walk away from Roma Termini station. The place is opposite the church with a golden statue in the side street. The gentleman who runs this was very helpful and spoke excellent English. The room was not as spacious as others we had... More

We booked a city break to Rome for 5 days & stayed at the B&B Vicenza as reviews looked good on the internet & the room rate seemed appropriate for staying in the city. As other reviews have stated this B&B is rather difficult to find. It is just a wooden doorway in a street and a set of buzzers... More

the staff was really rude at all time, even explain what we need to fill in when we check in. Can not believe this B&B still can open with these rude staffs! But the room was nice, just the street was load and we understand it because it is near Termini. Again, the rude and bad staff I ever seen... More

We came to Rome to see all attractions and the location of this B & B was excellent! It was a bit difficult to find the building, but after all the location was really good. We could walk almost everywhere in the city center. But the levels and the sizes of the rooms varied a lot and in our rooms... More

I stayed with my partner for 7 nights at the B&B Casa Vicenza from 7 until 14 November. We were both attending a conference at the Sapienza University nearby and wanted to be within walking distance of the venue each morning. As it was, it took us 10-15 minutes either way, depending on the traffic on the very busy two... More

This B&B is in a very convenient central location for visiting all of the main attractions in Rome on foot. It is particularly close to transport links such as the train station and the first stops of the 'hop on hop off' buses. There are also bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are very clean and spacious... More

I stayed here in a single room for my final night in Rome, so I only spent a few hours sleeping there. Hence, I dont know that much about the establishment or the owner. I have a feeling that he is not much present, as he has a day job, but I know he in most cases is avalable on... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
