We booked this flat as we were group of 13 for a week. We had elderly people and a toddler with us as well. Air con for one of the room was not working. We contacted the owner and the house keeper of the house, housekeeper came twice to check that but it only worked for 2-5 minutes and it...

We were a group of ten (three families) staying for two nights in Rome before setting off on a cruise. The apartment is great for those needing a close proximity to the Termini train station. Not so great for sightseeing, as you'll need to walk a long way or take the metro to the major sites. The street outside the...

We'd hired the apartment for five days as a group of eight attending a wedding. It was ideal for that as it gave us plenty of space and the balcony is fantastic. The location is also convenient for Termini, local restaurants and supermarkets. We were able to arrive early in the morning - handy as two of us had been...

We had 9 adults - 4 couples and a single - and were visiting in March. Technically there are enough beds to accommodate up to 12 people if privacy isn't an issue. If you are accommodating couples who want privacy I would keep it at 8. Caterina was extremely responsive prior to our arrival and the housekeeper was there on...

This is a massive apartment (4 bed rooms) + 4 baths. The landlady is excellent and highly customer focused. This around 10 minutes walk from Termini train and bus stations. We have enjoyed 5 days stays with 2 of my friends ( with their family)

nice apartment 10 minutes walk from Termini station. Coloseum, Forum Romanum half an hour by foot. Gracious landlady. Great 4 sleeping rooms, sleeps 12, very clean. The only severe setback is the location on the first floor of a very busy street. Noise from the street keeps one easily awake, not just one night but several nights in a row

We needed a large apartment for 9 people (4 couples and 1 extra person) and this B&B / accommodation was just right. (It looks like the unit could be seperated into 2 smaller units if needed). We had constant communication with the owner Caterina by email and she dealt with every question professionally and in a timely manner. (also...after we...

Located in a good location, walking distance to train station, but found out when we arrived payment in full was due for our 4 nights in Euros, credit cards not accepted. As we had just arrived in the country, we had to scramble to several ATM's to get the required amount. Rooms are not air-conditioned and could really use ceiling...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
