We spent 3 nights last month and all was great. The room was clean, people working there were friendly and helped us with Information regarding the sightseeing. The breakfast served in the corner's caffeteria was excellent.

The hotel location is within walking distance - circa 12mins to 18mins - from the train station (Roma termini), and a stone throw from Porta Pia (one of several tourist site).on is accessible via bus 90, 38, 360 from Roma termini but found out it was easier to walk rather then wait for a bus. Certainly not a palace. At best an extremely basic and very run down, not particularly clean, comfortless room in Rome. In desperate need of new mattresses, new pillows and clean blankets in more generous quantities. Wifi still does not work on floor 3 (see previous reviews) in spite of the staff evidently being aware of this, so we were moved...

It's very simple - Cesar Palace is a simple guesthouse without hot water or breakfast... You'll have a bed - no more, no less.... Forget the nice pictures at the homepages - they don't correspond with reality....

I had a good checkin with Benedetto whom has treated us like family. Best places were reccomended; Dorsia,Industrial eat and the castoro. The bus stop is on the right exiting the place. Very friendly staff and useful codes to come in and out at preferable time.

How this guesthouse has the positive ratings on TripAdvisor it has is beyond comprehension, the photos on the website bore little resemblance to the actual room we had been allocated. Now I always like to give the positives, so let begin there, both the receptionists were helpful, and the one named Richard was very kind and a very nice man....

TOTAL NIGHTMARE. HEAD MY WARNING AND KEEP LOOKING. After one night with a moldy bathroom, stained sheets and torn curtain my wife and I were disgusted. We found a recently remodeled hotel called THE BUILDING about six blocks away for 90/night which saved our weeks vacation.
