This B&B is essentially a small personal apartment 20 min walk away from Termini Station. While Giulia, the owner is a nice woman, she is clearly dealing some shady business around the area with other 'partner' B&Bs. She had overbooked her establishment (the one pictured) and brought us 4 blocks away to another, FAR WORSE, establishment. This place was dirty,...

A bad to take your wife on your honeymoon. Fortunately I went to Rome with just guys, but I will definitely not take my wife to this hotel. Upon arriving from FCO I asked the shuttle driver if this was the correct place, he just laughed and left. Total ripoff. Far from being any good, its an apartment renting out...

We had minimal needs: a clean, comfortable, low-cost place to sleep from which we can easily and conveniently reach the sights. This place provided just that, no luxuries, no frills (but with free wifi). The place is an apartment with several rooms, two shared bathrooms and a kitchen. Each room has a key so you can lock your doors. Our...

In short: We stayed for 5 nights. The place is ok considering we were looking for the cheapest place within walking distance from Rome’s main attractions. The neighborhood is not at all touristic but an immigrants place. The Inn is a hard to find apartment hidden in the back of a building with four bedrooms for rent. The owner is...

Pros: walking distance to tourist attractions and the Termini Station Relatively cheap, considering the location... We had a computer in the room, with the internet. The computer would freeze after about 10 minutes, but still, it provided a bit of access to the Net. Cons: the asian lady who works during the morning/day does not speak one work of english....

There are some spoiled young American girls who complains about this place for no reason. They think, that at one of the cheapest accommodations in Rome, they may require help to carry the baggage. ...and: "host spoke almost no English" - so what - you're not home. "The floor var dirty" (no, it was not) "and there was all Kinds...

Very hard to find this place walked past at least 4 times before noticing a , small label next to a buzzer on a block of flats. Clean room with comfortable bed and free use of computer with internet. Worth the price we paid at under 20 euros a night. Bathroom was clean if a bit small and shared with...

This "bed and breakfast" isn't really a bed and breakfast at all. I honestly think this is an Asian family's house and they just rent out the room because the two other rooms were occupied by people who looked like they were living there. The host spoke almost no English. We got there and he charged my credit card before...

The instructions that were given to find this Bed & Breakfast were extremely unhelpful. Not even the locals could find it and many other guests there agreed that they wasted a lot of time trying to locate the Prince Bed & Breakfast. While carrying everything I owned, I was wiped out-in pain- by the time I got in. (I was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
