Very enjoyable little accommodation just a short walk from the Vatican. ( So close you can return to your room for a break in the middle of the day) Alice was very helpful and accommodating. She arranged a pick up at the airport and for 45 E we were whisked to the hotel. There was a double booking problem (...

Julius Caesar B&B is a very nice place to stay. I stayed 6 days in this hotel with my boyfriend. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen we shared with the other rooms was also clean and it had almost everything you need for your breakfast. Apart from that we were finding every day some goods (nutella,...

We had a great 3 night stay at this friendly B&B in July. Yes, it is not a 5 star hotel but for the money we think it was an excellent choice. Alice the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and met us on arrival, explaining everything we needed to know in detail. She even arranged a transfer from the...

I stayed one night at the B&B Julius Caesar with my daughter and I would certainly recommend this hotel if you're after good-value-for-money accommodation near St Peter's. This review is for the B&B at 151 Viale Giulio Cesare because there are different B&B s under the same name and ownership. Let's be clear. This is not the standard hotel many...

The location is perfect- 1 minute after leaving metro you are in your room, so no need to carry heavy luggage. 10 minutes of nice walk to Vatican, a lot of bars and restaurants nearby. The BB modest, clean, the breakfast tasty, served to the room. The owner, Alice, is really charming and helpful. I would reccomend to everybody who...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
