Good B&B hotel. It is in the old house, each room has a private bathroom. There is a small shared kitchen with a refrigerator and a stove. Wi-fi works fine. Room are cleaned every day. Good location. The hotel is close to metro stations, about 10 minutes. The road to Coliseum takes about 15 minutes walking. Women on the reception...

Besides that crazy noise from the street which made me buy earplugs after first night, this B&B was perfect. Clean and spacious with comfortable beds. It's 5-10 minutes walk from Termini and 3 minutes from a subway station. If I go to Rome again, I'll be staying here.

This is my second stay in this B&B and the facilties are now more improved. The B&B is well finished, neat and tidy, with the FASTEST hotel internet i have experienced in Europe/UK. The complimentary water on arrival is a such a relief after a long journey, the finishes are of high quality and the essentials for a comfortable stay...

I was here for 5 nights from the 6th to the 11th of December/09. I just returned from a two week trek through Italy. We stayed at the Gladios in Rome for 5 nights. This place was advertised as a B&B but there was NO BREAKFAST. Which was a let down considering we could have stayed in other places for the same price that included breakfast. The location is poor overall. You are within...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
