This B&B consists of 3 rooms in a private apartment owned by a very helpful and accommodating host. The rooms are very clean, large, and comfortable with air conditioning (that you have control of) and a private bathroom. Paolo, the owner/host, was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure he could answer all of our questions....

We are a 68 year old couple who have been to Italy more than 20 times. This is our first experience with a B&B in Italy. Our first impression was how clean the room was - then how nicely decorated - then how helpful and charming Paolo, the owner was. From now on it's B&B in Italy for us.

What a delightful surprise for the cost! Beautiful, clean, and near Termini Station, this place was truly a gem find. The owner was also very kind and served an elegant breakfast with everything you could ask for. Very easy to walk just about anywhere (which we did) and in a lovely and safe building. Great find!

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Armonia All'Opera in the Puccini Suite at the end of July. This place is great, very clean and beautiful. The proprietor, Paulo, was very helpful in guiding us throughout Rome. The only small downside is a smallish shower, but this is really not a big deal. Location here is key, extremely close to the...

My friend and I had a fantastic time staying here. Paolo was such a friendly, helpful host who gave us a numerous great tips on how to best enjoy our time in Rome. The B & B is gorgeous and rooms were impeccably clean. I thought the price was great for this lovely place. The location is excellent just a...

My wife and I spent four nights at this B&B, and couldn't have been happier. It is located on a fairly main street, which makes it easy to find, but we were never bothered by street noise. Being close to Termini station means that you can jump on either of the two metro lines, depending on which sights you plan...

I would highly recommend this B&B as it really made our stay in Rome that extra bit special. The flat itself is gorgeous and beautifully designed. The room we stayed in was perfect; bigger than we expected with a great shower and satellite TV. The location is also great as its only 10mins walk from the main train/bus station so...

This place was really beautiful and spacious, and Paolo was just lovely. We had previously stayed at Casa Di Amy - a cute place but with staff which we found to be quite rude (we travelled 12 hrs to get there, experienced several transport delays, and were then charged 15 Euro extra for arriving late). Paolo and his guesthouse were...

The B&B: Armonia All'Opera is well located: near the Opera Theatre, just in front of it - on the opposite site of the street, and only in 5 minutes on foot from Termini Rail Station and Metro Station. We arrived in Rome very late in the evening and Paolo, the host of the B&B, was so kind to meet us...

My fiance and I just returned from a trip to Rome, where we stayed at Armonia All'Opera. We chose the B&B based on its reviews, and it did not disappoint. The building was charming, the rooms were spacious and clean, and Paolo was helpful and gracious. It was our first trip to the city, and we were also very pleased...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
