Good points: Large room. Excellent central location to do sightseeing from. Large shower. Friendly staff. Nice selection of croissants for breakfast. Beds made and towels replaced daily. Useful wall safe. Suitable for a family with kids. Piazza was busy in the day time but quiet at night. Enjoyed breakfast al fresco though lucky it wasnt cold or wet in the...

Have been here a few times and love it. Location fabulous and the rooms are clean and spacious. my only annoyance was that work was carried out on our last vist and scaffolding and screening prevented us from opening up the windows and seeing the piazzza below - so check work has finished before you book.

Nice, reasonably clean apartment on nice piazza which is fairly quiet at night. Excellent location. 5 min walk from pantheon. Francesco is the young man who showed us the room etc. Was very helpful. Gave us a very good recomendation for a restaurant only a couple of minutes away. Negatives: "free wifi" is actually only accessible if you are standing...

Stayed here with family (kids - 13 & 11yrs) on our first visit to Rome. Took awhile to find (10 minutes from Spanga Metro) but found it to be a great base for visiting the City's sites. Only caught one Metro all visit, everything else was very walkable (Vatican, Colesseo, Termini less then 30 mins walk, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Castel...

This was our first visit to Rome & the room exceeded our expectations. We felt the online pics we viewed at the time of booking did not actually reflect how big the apartments were ( our friends stayed in apartment 2 - us 1 ) Ours had the Kingsize bed in an area 3 steps up from the living area...

There are only 3 suites here, which are above the owner's up-market cafe and excellent delicatessen (we stayed in "Navona"). The location is superb, being in a relatively quiet piazza just off one of Rome's main streets (Via del Corso) and it's most exclusive shopping area (via dei Condotti). The Spanish Steps and Spagna Metro station are less than a...

    Staying in Colonna

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
