My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the Beau Site. Linda and Fabrizio were wonderful hosts. They were welcoming, respectful and responsive to our needs. The room was charming. What it lacked in size it made up in charm. It was bright, clean and comfortable. What I found remarkable was how conveniently located it was. We were a...

I recommend this hotel, we had a great stay, Fabrizio and Linda (the owners) were very friendly and helpful. The new hotel suites were very comfortable and private. We felt like we had our own apartment in a very quiet and luxurious area in Rome! Thank u guys for everything, you made our first trip to Italy easier. Rita &...

Very friendly, great (small) rooms, fantastic location. Safe and secure. Could do with a less 'cautious' approach to replenishing toileteries and breakfast. All false economy really. Real fruit juice and fruit salad as opposed to 'juice drink' and tinned fruits would be an improvement, as would help yourself coffee. Fresh fruit was avaialble and croissants were reasonable. Good overall, breakfast...

Dear Guest, Thanks for reviewing our Hotel. However, I don’t think I understand what you mean by “false economy”. As we give so much to our guests in terms of service, I find this expression very inappropriate and disrespectful of our staff’s hard work. Our housekeeperchange dirty toiletries every day if: toileters are dirty, if she find toileters on the...

My husband and I and two other couples spent several nights at Beau Site in April before catching a cruise that left from Rome. Beau Site was a charming place to stay, quite convenient to most of the touristy places we wanted to visit and we couldn't have asked for a nicer staff in Linda, Fabrizio and Paulo. The first...

Fabrizio was an excellent host. The rooms were great. The staff was more than helpful to our needs. Extra clean rooms. Right in the heart of everything of the ancient city of Rome. We were helped when we got there early, and they were able to understand English

It was our first trip to Rome in March '13 and were delighted to have booked this B&B. It's in an ideal location central Rome with most attractions being in walking distance. Fabrizio was very welcoming and so helpful when trying to book tickets and recommending restaurants. If coming back to Rome we'd be more than happy to book here...

We were impressed by the location and the decor, and they were great, but the real stars of the property were Fabrizio and Linda. After a delay of 7 hrs due to our airline, we arrived tuckered and down. They were so welcoming and hospitible, they made our transition from weary traveler to invited guest. They recommended a nearby restaurant...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A unique place, where the guest is the center of everything, welcomed and pampered from the initial smile to the last goodbye, which always leaves a taste of sweet nostalgia to everyone. This is the daily experience at Beau Site, luxurious Boutique Hotel in Via Ludovisi, an elegant street in the heart of Rome, just a few steps away from the magnificent Villa Borghese, that links Via Veneto, birthplace of La Dolce Vita, to Via Sistina, from which guests will reach in a few minutes the most attractive architectural, historical and artistic sights, such as the stairway of Trinità dei Monti, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via del Corso and Piazza Navona. The beautiful building where our Antica Residenza is located was built by the famous family of Roman architects Busiri Vici and came originally with the idea of a private home; then, the tranquility, sophistication and exclusivity of the location suggested the restructuring of a portion of the building, in order to create a jewel of hospitality that could ensure class, privacy and relaxation. The elegant décor, the style of the impeccable service and the comfort of each of the environments create a charming atmoshpere that makes pleasurable and memorable even the shortest stay. The Beau Site is a residence which is historical, but still Hi-Tech: the free WiFi and the iPad, available to our customers, are just some of the small details that contribute to create a balanced union of style and efficiency. In the morning, in the Bow Window room (unique in its genre) the continental breakfast is served on a buffet full of sweet and salted meals, always fresh and accompanied by the best Italian coffee and typical products.A special selection of drinks was made by a Sommelier especially for guests of Beau Site, even the most demanding ones. All is provided by a special service in the Bow Window dining room, or in total discretion in your bedroom.Among the various services offered: LCD satellite TV, free WiFi access, free AirPrint, check-in online for flights, online "jump-the-line" bookings for the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Borghese Gallery etc., send/receive fax, transfer to/from airports, city guides, bookings for tours, open top bus, personal shopper, car rental.Who’s choosing our Boutique Hotel Beau Site knows what he will find, but never expects what being in this unique place really means, until he discovers by himself, being pleasantly surprised. ... more   less
