This is a charming small hotel close to the via Veneto. The staff is extremely helpful and accomodating. We had some early days that started before breakfast time aND the arranged for us to have breakfast in our room before we left. Although the rooms are small, it is very clean. The hotel is also very close to some wonderful...

Before commencing this report, I must state I am 68 and have never complained about any hotel or holiday before and I have been on nearly a hundred holidays. It took trouble even to find the building, upon entering this office block, Yes office block, we were greeted by stairs up to the first floor (the lift only started on...

We stayed here for four days whilst visiting rome. The owners contacted us prior to arrival and arranged a private transfer from the airport for us. The location is really good, very close to the centre and easy walking distance to most of the top attractions. Facilities are quite basic but it is all you need and it's very clean...

Continental breakfast was good w/an array of pastries & some fruits w/juice & coffee. The hotel is old, built in 1500's. The elevator fits 2 people w/2 large suitcases. The people behind the desk is very helpful. We didn't know how to turn the shower on. There were 6 knobs, but once they explained how to turn it on, no...

We stayed here 2 nights and were very pleased! The rooms were small, but comfortable with a nice bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a 6 am flight and they booked us a driver who was right on time and very professional. The neighborhood is very nice and full of high-priced...

Great stay :) We arrived late, and although they were not open at our time of arrival they made arrangements to ensure we could still get into our room easily and quickly. Most places in Europe we visited we had Wi-Fi trouble but here it was great!

We booked this hotel based on Trip Advisor reviews. As a senior reviewer, I'm almost never surprised at the accomodations. However, I was at Beau Site. It's not a real hotel, just the floor of a building that has rooms to rent. We were shown to a room that was so small that two people could barely move around. After...

The Beau Site is what it says it is, a residence. It does not have the ammenities, or price, of a hotel. It is a clean basic residence with seven rooms and breakfast accomidations. For the price of about € 120 with tax per room night, it is an incredible deal. We were pleased with the rooms we had, which...

We chose to book at Beau Site based on the positive reviews on tripadvisor. Overall the stay was great. The staff was very supportive and Always smiling and welcoming. Rooms are clean and just what is needed to sleep and go wander all day. Breakfast could be better. It is a cold buffet with limited variety. On our 3rd day,...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A unique place, where the guest is the center of everything, welcomed and pampered from the initial smile to the last goodbye, which always leaves a taste of sweet nostalgia to everyone. This is the daily experience at Beau Site, luxurious Boutique Hotel in Via Ludovisi, an elegant street in the heart of Rome, just a few steps away from the magnificent Villa Borghese, that links Via Veneto, birthplace of La Dolce Vita, to Via Sistina, from which guests will reach in a few minutes the most attractive architectural, historical and artistic sights, such as the stairway of Trinità dei Monti, Piazza di Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Via del Corso and Piazza Navona. The beautiful building where our Antica Residenza is located was built by the famous family of Roman architects Busiri Vici and came originally with the idea of a private home; then, the tranquility, sophistication and exclusivity of the location suggested the restructuring of a portion of the building, in order to create a jewel of hospitality that could ensure class, privacy and relaxation. The elegant décor, the style of the impeccable service and the comfort of each of the environments create a charming atmoshpere that makes pleasurable and memorable even the shortest stay. The Beau Site is a residence which is historical, but still Hi-Tech: the free WiFi and the iPad, available to our customers, are just some of the small details that contribute to create a balanced union of style and efficiency. In the morning, in the Bow Window room (unique in its genre) the continental breakfast is served on a buffet full of sweet and salted meals, always fresh and accompanied by the best Italian coffee and typical products.A special selection of drinks was made by a Sommelier especially for guests of Beau Site, even the most demanding ones. All is provided by a special service in the Bow Window dining room, or in total discretion in your bedroom.Among the various services offered: LCD satellite TV, free WiFi access, free AirPrint, check-in online for flights, online "jump-the-line" bookings for the Vatican Museums, Colosseum, Borghese Gallery etc., send/receive fax, transfer to/from airports, city guides, bookings for tours, open top bus, personal shopper, car rental.Who’s choosing our Boutique Hotel Beau Site knows what he will find, but never expects what being in this unique place really means, until he discovers by himself, being pleasantly surprised. ... more   less
