Well we took the train from Lucca to Roma and arrived at the hotel a little early so the desk staff offered us a different room as ours wasn't ready (this would be at an extra cost to us) or they would look after our luggage till our room was ready, we took this option, the person on the desk... We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in April 2013. The hotel, as you can read from other reviews, is out of the city centre, and probably out of walking distance for most. The bus service from the main road (170) is reliable, and you can buy tickets from lots of places en route. The bus was always packed... More

South of downtown, over a 3 mi (5 km) walk to Coliseum ruins. Good breakfast. They charge extra for 2 people in a room versus 1, even though the room is identical. 2 twins or 1 king. Expect to pay 30+ euro for this. Total cost was $146 for two.

What an amazing hotel. We had breakfast included which for the price was awesome! Location isn't the best, although the staff are so helpful at directing you. There's a shuttle bus every day into town and there's a bus stop two minutes walk away with regular busses all day and late into the evening. There's a local restaurant called Retro... More

Being an H10 fan I was prepared to sacrifice being right in the city centre for the quality of the hotel. Having read other reviews I had in my mind that the hotel was a bit closer to Trastavere than it actually is! The surrounding area is quite pleasant and is obviously undergoing regeneration. The Main Street which is only... More

We stayed here last week in a fairly new room on the fifth (highest) floor. The room was tidy and trendy, no noises, the bathroom was equipped with a bath, toilet, bidet, sink and several free toiletries. There was a Nespresso-machine (5 euro for an assorted coffee package) in the room. The hotel is located in Trastevere which means you can... More

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel on our 4 day stay in rome. We were typical tourists and came intentionally to see the beautiful sites of rome. The hotel staff were more than helpful, giving us advice on how to get around and gave us plenty of leaflets and maps which came in very useful. We realised we... More

Sadly the H10 was not as great as we had been hoping for. We stayed at this hotel or 5 nights and had previously stayed in a lovely H10 hotel in Barcelona so had been hoping for a reliable hotel to stay in for our first trip to Rome. Firstly yes this hotel is very far out and can be... More

We travelled to Rome for an easter break, but knowing the crowds that easter brings we chose a hotel that was a bit further out than one might choose for exploring the city. The H10 is not hugely remote, but is a goodly walk or a bus ride, or a train trip, from the main tourist areas. It's set in... More
