We stayed here four nights during the last week in August. This is my second time in Rome and this was the best guest house I've stayed in yet. The location is perfect as it is about a 10 to 12 minute walk to both The Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Bernini's Triton fountain is also only a 2...

My husband and I stayed here the last night of our trip in Italy. It was in a perfect location (quieter than our first hotel stay on Via Nazionale). The room was very clean, well furnished, and modern. This spot offers great value for money.

We stayed at La Piccola in July at the end of a long trip through Italy. I am not a fan of Rome, but we had 2 friends with us who had never been there, so we took them to see the attractions. Found this place on Trip Advisor, and I must say it was a bonus to our trip...

My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our stay at La Piccola Maison. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities, including flat screen tv, wi-fi access, and contemporary furnishings (not to mention air conditioning, which is a MUST in Rome in August!). The location is ideal with just steps away from shops, restaurants and, the Barberini metro station....

This is a fantastic place to stay in Rome with updated rooms and spacious bathroom (we stayed in #5). The location is ideal next to the metro and a short walk to both the Trevi and Spanish Steps. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back.

Our family stayed here for four days while sightseeing in Rome. Everything that other reviewers has written about the place and Georgio is true, very friendly and helpfull! His restaurant recommendations were very good and helped us avoid the typical touristy places. He also arranged taxi transportation to and from the airport. This is highly recommended as you most likely...

We stayed at the Piccola Maison for two nights when we first arrived in Rome. The hotel is tiny yet very comfortable and clean. It is in very well located in between the Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps therefore making it walking distance to all the major attractions, shops, cafes and restaurants. It is right next to the Barberini metro...

When Georgio said that he had to transfer us to his sister hotel I was disappointed but it was fantastic - funky modern room very large and beautifully appointed as was the en suite bathroom. Centrally situated not far from the Trevi fountain. Georgio and Laura were both warm, friendly and very helpful. Just one note - up stairs but...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
