Yes serene maybe an odd choice of word for a place situated in a street but oddly I found that relaxing and peaceful enough and in fact became the major highlight of my stay at the place. Rooms are perfect and comes with everything that you expect from a comfortable stay and the hosts are friendly and helpful with all... More

We can't say enough good things about our stay at QuodLibet. The room was delightful and quiet - a window opened on the street, and the weather was nice enough (and the street quiet enough) that we kept it open. Without exaggeration, this was the nicest home away from home we've ever experienced. Our hosts made us very comfortable and... More

Like all the reviews say, this is a great spot to stay in rome. The rooms are nice, it is so easy to get around (whether going to the vatican or the historic centet) and wonderful suggestions for things to do. Simply excellent.

We had a fantastic stay here. Augustino was a great host! He suggested great restaurants and the best routes to talk through Rome to see the sights. The room was large and quiet with a comfortable bed and a bathroom with a bath, needed after walking around the city all day. The location is ideal for visiting the Vatican and... More

We stayed at Quodlibet pre-cruise. The location is walking distance to the Vatican and two minutes to the Metro. The rooms are well-kept, nicely furnished and decorated. For several weeks before our stay, I emailed with the owner on advice of what to do, where to eat and how to get around Rome. His advice was invaluable; when we arrived,... More

We stayed at Quod Libet for 3 nights from 6th November. The owners could not have been more helpful and welcoming. They arranged the transfer taxis to and from the airport, on arrival Agostino sat us down with a map of Rome pointed out where the sites were, how to walk to them and some recommended restaurants which were not... My husband and I loved everything about this guesthouse. Our room was lovely...well appointed, roomy, great bathroom. The location was perfect...walking distance to St Peter's square, several nice restaurants, and half a block from the metro. Our hosts were so cordial and informative, we lacked for nothing. One of the nicest perks was honesty....where else could one leave an iPad... More

Although it sounds too verbal and looks like an ad we really think that QuosdLibet was surely one of our best hotel choices so far (probably the best). It is not just a B&B Our room had a lot of advantages: -Excellent position close to Ottaviano Metyro station (100m), sth of great importance during rainy periods! 400 m from the... More

We stayed at QuodLibet for 6 nights during the second week of November, and had a fantastic experience. Having decided to visit Rome on something of a whim, we didn't arrive with a very defined plan. Gianluca, one of the owners, spent a significant amount of time with us on arrival asking what sort of things we were interested in... More

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
