You will find a small flight of stairs which leads to another green door. Inside you will find a peaceful retreat from your hectic but wonderful day in Rome!. There is very comfortable room which doubles as a reception area and 5 doors that lead to the rooms. We were lucky enough to stay in two different rooms that were...

If you're looking for a bland, conventional hotel then Crossing Condotti is not for you. But if you're looking for an oasis of calm right in the heart of Rome, a beautiful room, and something a little different, then this will be right up your street. We loved every minute of our stay at Crossing Condotti and the personal attention...

The reviews are correct. This is neither a traditional hotel, nor an inn. However, Crossing Condotti provided us with a fabulous 4 night stay in Rome in October without being either. The building is a converted home, and the decorations, ambiance and demeanour of the hosts in reception do make you feel very much "at home". We stayed in the...

This is a boutique hotel just a couple of blocks from the Spanish Steps in Rome. It is a wonderful place! They have only five rooms, which are beautiful. The bathrooms are also extremely nice. They have coffee, tea, snacks and all types of drinks in the little kitchen for guests. The concierges, Marco and Francesco, are very knowledgeable about...

As many other reviewers have stated, the location is excellent and the rooms are beautifully and elegantly furnished and maintained. Attention has been given to providing superb quality, sumptuous bed linen and to lovely l'Occitane toiletries. The warm and relaxed welcome we received from Francesco was fantastic and the level of service overall was impeccable. We were particularly impressed that...

My wife and I stayed 4 nights for our 25th anniversary. The location was excellent with "The Spanish Steps" only a 3 minute walk and "The Trevi Fountain" around 12 minutes. The Spanga metro stop only 5 miutes which gives you easy access to the Vatican museum, Cistine chapel, St. Peter's Basilica and the colosseum. Francesco and Marco who manage...

We stayed two nights on our way home from a trip through Italy. I would recommend this house to anyone. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the linens and towels are high quality. The bathrooms are modern and the rooms, while not huge, are big enough, with very high ceilings and nice antiques. The location is perfect for one who...

We stayed for four nights in the Crossing Corso apartment. I will just echo what others have said: (1) fantastic location a stone's throw from Piazza di Spagna, especially for first-time visitors like my parents, everything was within walking distance, including the major sight and great cafes, bars and restaurants; (2) wonderful service, Francesco and Andrew were extremely personable, friendly,...

We, as 2 girlfriends, stayed at Crossing Condotti for 2 nights. It is located in the center of the old town, and in the middle of the most beautiful shopping area in Rome. Marco helpt us to find the best places to eat and drink and even maked reservation for a hairdresser. The place is so typical Italian and verry...

I travel with young child so location is always my first concern. Crossing Condotti is conveniently located one block from the Spanish Steps and we can literally walk to main attractions in Rome. The staffs we met were all very friendly and helpful. From the first warm welcome with helpful suggestions to restaurants nearby, free Wifi access to the self-service...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
