I recommend this hotel. Very good housekeeping, everything looked very clean and well maintained, good breakfast and Wi-Fi. The room is small like most of other European hotels, but it was enough to accommodate our luggage without concerns. Very polite and helpful staff.

We were told not to expect much from hotels in Rome and this hotel proved everyone right. Hotel had basic infrastructure issues ranging from lighting, drainage to dusty curtains. I guess the only thing that works for hotel is location, but there are few other options as well nearby. Avoid if you can.

Best location. Near Termini station and not too far from Rome's city center. It is very clean and staff is nice and helpful, although not all of them speaks English well, but it was ok. The rent appears reasonable to me and I would like to stay there in the next trip. The breakfast is good and bar is ok....

i needed to stop in rome between flights in december and had a day and a half to spend there. the location is excellent, plus good pricing, around fifty Eur for one person. near the station, and they couldn't have been more helpful, letting me drop my bag and use the wifi before i continued with my day of sightseeing....

One of the best stays in our Europe trip in December, walking distance from Termini, massage beds , data enabled smartphone and the list goes on.... cheerful staff at reception , hearty breakfast, they also helped us to book a taxi for airport drop, but if you re travelling light Leo express @ 14 euro per person is the best...

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel - it was great. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast choice was varied and plenty. Location was superb - close to many tourist attractions. Would definitely return.

Nice hotel.. Perfect location - near Termini Station and Santa Maria Maggiore. Lots of nice small resturants within walking distance. The hotel bar is ok and the morning breakfast was outstanding (our rate included breakfast). The front desk staff was kind and attentive, spoke perfect English. Our room was small and bathroom was very small, but we didn't come to...

We stayed here for 3 days for a short vacation in Rome. The location is perfect, close to the train station, buses and metro. We also walked quite a lot to visit various sights and everything was never more than 15-20 minutes away. The breakfast is included and it is quite good, with a lot of diversity. We usually went...

Everything was perfectly arranged upon our request, the hotel set up the pick up at Rome Airport (recommended). We reserved three double-rooms, each one was great, although a bit dated on decorations. The beds are fantastic and fully customizable via a remote (including vibration). Also there was a device on each room to access internet while outside the hotel or...

This was by far our best stay in Europe. We had an AWFUL experience in a nearby hotel (Altavilla) and stumbled on this one while running away. Things started with the right foot when we met Tiziano Thomann at the front desk. He helped us with a reservation for 7 at 4 different rooms (quite challenging bas we arrived without...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
