Marcello, the manager, was extremely hospitable and helpful, service minded but not hovering! We got to borrow an iPad right from the start of our stay, and could also use our room the whole next day until 5pm. The rooftop terrace was so nice! We got wine and cheese there to welcome us, with some nice chat and useful tips...

All of the reviews for this wonderful place are true, true, true. Marcello has 3 rooms on the third floor of this building. Very secure with keys for the gate and an elevator for your luggage. My husband and I stayed with 2 other couples so we had the entire place to ourselves. Upon arrival, Marcello served us wine and...

We stayed here in May this year, and completely agree with all the other reviews. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street very close to the Vatican. The breakfasts were excellent and Marcello cooked us probably the best carbonara we've ever tasted. Everyone working here was lovely. The roof terrace was lovely, breakfasts and wine tastings in the...

It's been at least 13 years since my last trip to Rome and I was lucky to find this gem of a B & B in Rome on my return. Marcello and his friendly staff made such a difference to the overall experience and it was a wonderful, hospitable, warm and friendly place to stay. Marcello can organise airport transportation...

My wife and I spent three days in Rome and three days in Florence. We ended up going back to Rome one more night to see Marcello and stay at his B&B before heading off to the airport. The rooms were great, location is great, and the experience was one of a kind. The staff was very accomodating and Marcello...

Having just arrived from Istanbul and a week at the Ritz Carlton, we wanted to find the right quaint B&B where we would feel immersed in a neighborhood, could walk to many sights, at an affordable price but not feel let down after having spent a week at a high end luxury hotel. Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
