Despite the minor inconveniences of a shared bathroom and having to pay cash on arrival, we had a nice stay here. Mauro, the owner, was extremely accommodating even though we were very late checking in. Lots of nice restaurants and tourist attractions within walking distance. Not recommended for families but great for couples and large groups.

I stayed at Mite with a friend. The owner of the building will try to charge you for everything (beware of hidden costs). Our plane was delayed and he said that we had to pay an extra 15 euros to be let in to the bed and breakfast. Turns out no one was waiting for us and we ended up...

After a semester of living and studying in Rome, my program ended and my sister came to visit me in Rome. Since I had an apartment, I had never stayed in hotel accommodations in the city. I chose Mite because it was in Trastevere, near the apartment I had lived in. Trastevere has so much culture, I will always only...

We liked the nice big flat, and our room with balcony and the MAC in the living room very much. On the downside, it was noisy when someone shut a door and you could hear your neighbours through the wall, if they spoke up a little bit. We enjoyed the typical italian breakfast and the chilled atmosphere and recommend this...

We arrived here and were greeted by the porter who did not speak English. Admittedly we did not speak Italian either, but we had been led to believe from an email that the owner who did speak English would be meeting us there. Nonetheless we were handed a piece of paper which explained who the porter was and what the...

Mauro, the owner of the Mite Bed and Breakfast was more than accomodating! I must admit I had some doubts going into this because I had never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast before especially in a foreign country. All those doubts were wiped clean the moment we stepped in the door at the Mite Bed and Breakfast. The Mite...

Location: In an upper class apartment building on a quiet side street in Trastevere, with great access to tram lines, restaurants, and attractions. Hint: There is no exterior sign, so take note of the address and press a button next to Mite to gain access. Once in the building, walk past the first elevator and take the second elevator to...

The apartment was fantastic. Tucked awayin a quite location yet in the heart of Trastevere, lovely to wander around with fantastic shops, restuarants & bars. The centre of Rome is a short walk or quick hop on the tram to all the major attractions.
