Breakfast was fab, room was very decent and the host was very helpful. We are a family of four and we loved it here last year. Everyday we praised it for the location - I really do feel it was in a brilliant location for getting out and walking around. Plus organic shop just down the road for amazing wine...

We had a wonderful time at Capricci Romani. It is a lovely hotel close to everything; attractions, restaurants and walking distance to the metro. The hotel guy (Dario) was very helpful and friendly. It was like a home away from home. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. I would highly recommend to family and friends.

I and my husband visited Rome last weekend and had a great time. The B&B was fresh, clean and nicely furbished. The room was quite small but with a very comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Positive was the refrigerator in the room, wine glasses, cups, tea and water boiler. Our host Dario was very service minded and helpful, we...

My husband and 2 adult children spent 2 nights there and I was very happy with our choice. The location is great for visiting the Vatican as well as Campo De Fiore, Trevi fountain, Trastreve, etc.... We did take a taxi to the Colosseum. The B&B is on the forth floor but there is a small elevator. The rooms were...

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighbourhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighbourhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighbourhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
