This place made me nervous for a while. Although we had paid in full last February for a one night stay (October), I could get no answer to several emails I sent just trying to confirm our arrival. Eventually, I called Expedia (with whom I had booked the hotel) who got in touch with the establishment, then got back to... More

Cozy and modern b&b in the heart of Rome. We had a pleasant stay with my family through our Italy's tour. Our family room on the second floor was big and very clean. The area is a good area close Termini train station, about 5 minutes walking distance.

We book a last minute room for our week-end in Rome in February and we found this b&b online. We book two rooms, 1 double room and 1 quintuple room private baths. A good breakfast in the morning with milk, capuccino, croissant, fruit jam and Nutella. Excellent quality/price b&b.

We stay 6 nights in one big and clean double room. The apartment is new and modern, good breakfast with croissant and jam. Ca' degli Equi was in a good location close to the public transportation, metro and bus, and close to the railway station.

Nice area, nice and clean apartment. We stayed six nights in this private apartment in San Lorenzo quarter, in Rome's downtown, close to the Termini metro station and tramvia number 3. We book this apartment for 5 people and we enjoy our stay and Roma. If we come back to Rome we will choose this solution again.

We stayed for four nights in this b&b for our honeymoon in december during the Christmas' holidays and we were satisfied. Central location in Rome's downtown, close to the public transportation. Safe district in the university area. Good morning breakfast.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
6 apartments and one bed and breakfast located in the best zones of Rome and rented directly by the owner. The first two apartments are located at rione Regola, in via dei Cappellari 35, just a few steps away from Campo de Fiori, Piazza Farnese and Piazza Navona. The other four apartments and the b&b are located in San Lorenzo, in via dei Sabelli 39 and via degli equi 69, in the area of Rome's main university and Termini Train station. This zone is considered by romans as a second Trastevere because of its small town-alike streets and typical roman style and also because of the large number of restaurants and pubs located around the neighborhood. ... more   less
