With the exception of the stairs to the apartments, Not a problem for us so don't let them put you off. This accommodation is ideally located for all of the main attractions in Rome. Extremely attentive staff and our room was great, huge in fact. We expected a lot less but were wowed. Attentive and friendly staff made our stay extremely... More

We stayed 4 nights at Residence AT. The location is perfect. The staff was very helpful. The room is clean and big (we stayed at the mezzanine and had basically two rooms). Breakfast was included in the price - very basic, if you have to pay for breakfast I would advise not to do it. There is a coffee shop... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in a large room with a double bed. Bathroom was spacious with a corner bath, and had 2 windows in there to keep it cool. Room had a seating area so was like an apartment! The stairs up to the rooms were no problem - they weren't steep and the building was nice and old... More

Stayed hear over the Easter weekend in 2013. Booked on the basis of previous TripAdvisor reviews. In summary, I would not stay here again. Pros: Location (about 100m from Metro and cab-rank outside) and price. Cons: Incredibly noisy (both from road noise and those inside the hotel), the beds are appalling (mine had been stuffed with a towel due to... More

We've stayed here for 3 nights and i think this was the best choice. The residence is in the city center, just 3 minutes away from Fontana di Trevi, 5 minutes to Colosseo, Piazza di Spagna and so close to everything else. From our room we had a very nice view to piazza Barberini. It was a pleasure to eat... More

We decided to stay in this hotel the last night before flying from Rome due to the convenient location. It is next the Metro station, and at walking distance to main attractions, so location wise, excellent. However.... this is not even worth the price we paid.... The picture they show is not even the right side of the street. We... More

This is a budget hotel but the location is 5*. When we arrived the stairs were a little daunting and to be fair arriving back after walking the streets of Rome the stairs were horrible. We were upgraded into the apartment which is located on 2 floors and has 2 living rooms and a bedroom and bathroom upstairs. This was... More

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.

“There are 13 sets of steps to the apartments but if you can make it they are really worth it. It truly is ideally located. Great continental breakfast when you choose to have it in serving times and you get asked each evening so you have some choice. We will be returning. On that point 5 Minutes from the Trevi Fountain. Don;t miss this accommodation.”
