We stayed in Pompeii for one night to visit the ruins and Mt Vesuvius, and just wanted somewhere cheap to stay. This hotel was the cheapest and had a pool. The whole hotel was a little dated and could do with a sprucing but it was all clean and tidy. The rooms were clean and we had a fab view... More

The hotel /motel is situated right next to the excavations and the train station. (5 min walking time). In front of the hotel there is a big pool (approx. 1,5 m deep) surrounded by antique looking statues. Parking is for free. Breakfast is outside and you can choose between salty and sweet dishes. Don't ever consider to drive with the... More

Ideally located for the ancient site of Pompei. Great train access for Amalfi coast. Giood Staring point to visit Vesuvius and Herculaneum. About 1.5 Mile walk into main town of Pompei for restaurants in the evening. Good for shops including souvenirs. Easy access by train to Sorrento from where buses run to Positano and Amalfi.

The hotel's big attraction is its convenience for access to the Pompeii archaeological site, enabling early arrival to beat the long queues that build in the morning. The hotel also provides an oasis that is an escape from the heat and crowds of summer. The swimming pool and surrounding area is a great place to relax. The hotel is an... More

Me and my fiancé stayed here when visiting Pompeii. We got the metro/train thing from Naples on the morning (took around 45 minutes) and got off at the main Pompeii station, and the hotel was just a couple minute walk from the ruins and station! We got to the hotel around 11am and were able to leave our luggage at... More

The Hotel Villa dei Misteri is a two star hotel, we stayed in a room which had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and with views to the mountains, sea and a little glimpse of the ruins of ancient Pompeii. Food in the restaurant was very pleasant, drinks are reasonably priced and everyone is very helpful, and the room we... More

We choose this hotel because you can just walk a few minutes to the main entrance of Pompeii. The hotel is rather simple but good. The staff is very helpful. The pool was not filled up yet. It was too chilly to jump in anyway. We had dinner in de the hotel witch was simple but good. There were also... More
