Booked Dimora Sant'Eligio through venere.com. With a discount for pre-paying, this made the B&B rate very competitive. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned and the bed made daily. Ample towelling, changed daily. Breakfast (continental, of course) was served IN THE BEDROOM - you choose the time the night before. Staff were friendly and helpful, though...

Spent a week at the Dimora Sant'Eligio over the Capodanno, staying in Room 106, aka Piazza Plebiscito (the rooms are called after Neapolitan place names). The hotel is situated in a quiet street just off the main Corso Umberto I and is an easy 15 minute stroll from the main train station at Piazza Garibaldi. The Historic Centre or Spaccanapoli...

The inside of this hotel was fabulous--charming and old-world feel to it. The staff was very kind and helpful. Would stay here again. Naples, the city, it very busy and dirty though. Great rooftop terrace to have a lovely breakfast--included in room price.

The visit started on the wrong foot as the hotel claimed to have a reservation for only 1 room instead of the 2 that I had confirmations for. Occuring after a long overnight flight, and layover for connections, it was not a pleasant surprise. It was finally resoved by the staff offering to put us in an apartment in a...

After hearing and reading dodgy stories about Naples, I was very hesitant to stay there but we didn't have a choice as we flew in late and were heading off to Amalfi early in the morning. Out of all the reviews for different hotels this was the only one I wanted to stay at. I was most disappointed when there...

We booked three rooms there for three nights at the end of September based on the reviews and price comparison with similar establishments. We were not disappointed; the rooms were large, clean, quiet and well air-conditioned and the terrace for breakfast very pleasant. The area was a little dingy and shuts down in the evening; however we never felt threathened...

To rate this hotel, I have to desribe Naples first. The posh part of Naples, where the big hotels are, has none of the attractions that one would want to see in Naples itself. This hotel is very close to the Duomo, the Archeological Museum, and the Circumvesuviana Train, which we took to get to Pompei. But the neighborhood itself...

Stayed at this hotel's separate apartment for several nights ... crisp, clean sheets and plentiful, thick towels. Perfect for families. My only complaint is that the air condition unit did not reach the second bedroom, so the kids had to sleep on the couch. I second the opinion of others who have posted --- the small pizzeria next door was...
