The Albergo is a superb base for anyone planning to spend a few days sightseeing in Naples or visiting Pompei and Herculaneum. The hotel is located just one metro stop away from the main train station (from where you take the train to the Roman sites) and is also on the same metro line as the archaeological museum. It is... Good hotel, at 15-20min from the port, 15min from the heart of Napoli. Nice, clean, quiet, with air conditioning, correct breakfast, helpful staff and good price/quality ratio. Perfect to visit the city and its surroundings for a few days!

We were here 5 nights and liked this little hotel. Rooms were clean, air-conditioned and spacy. We also had a little balcony, thou my boyfriend didn't dare to step on it, it was very narrow:D Breakfast was okay; bread, cereals, yoghurts, fruits, cake, coffee machine. There was also available fresh croissants and 'proper' espresso' if you want. Location is nice... More

Good location. Good value for money. Neat, clean, everything ok but lacked soul. Unfortunately the roof terrace wasn't open for breakfast, it was served in a room with no windows. Perfectly good breakfast with warm croissant. Fine as a base for seeing the sights. Odd shower, took a bit or working out, lots of controls and different heads - all... More

The hotel is ideally located at the city centre next to thr underground station and the old city. Staff is friendly and responsive - the only case they couldn't help was when we asked for an iron and a board (they didn't have but tried to find one). The room is really spacious and clean - the A/C works, really... More

Just a few blocks from the University metro (just 2 stops from Central Station), this was a great place to stay on a quick trip to Naples to see Pompeii. Quite enough, yet still centrally located. The front desk was helpful in storing our luggage and directing us on how to get to Pompeii.

This hotel is good value for the money, but somehow I just couldn't warm to it. I rated it as 2.5 stars (but TA doesn't allow half stars!) The location is convenient - short walk from metro (Universita) and on the edge of the old town. But the street itself is not nice. The hotel is clean - in fact... More

I stayed with a friend at the Albergo del Golfo for one night. We found it a little overpriced for the final results. The hotel was in a noisy street so during the night it was hard to sleep. The rooms were really big and spacious but ours had a lot of dirt in the floor. Also the stairs to... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights with my sister to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, Mount Vesuvius and the Historic centre of Naples. The room was very spacious but very bland. It was clean and the bed comfortable. The entire hotel was obviously recently renovated in a modern fashion but the furniture is old fashioned. The staff were friendly enough... More
