We can be in no other place than Capri’s Hotel Luna. “Tell me if there is another spectacle on earth which can compare with this” wrote Alexandre Dumas as he gazed at the Faraglioni rocks way back in 1816. “No, there isn’t” you instinctively want to answer, as you sit on the sweeping terrace of Hotel Luna, watching the setting sun paint the legendary sea stacks a shade of fiery red, or stroll through the gardens on a summer evening, in the silvery light of the Capri moon. Watching the sun rising over the sea, whiling away a morning lazing by the pool, relishing a delicious lunch of insalata caprese and fresh fruit, taking a spot of exercise in the panoramic fitness corner, enjoying a candlelit dinner overlooking the Faraglioni, savoring a bottle of wine with that special someone on the terrace of your room. Can you imagine a better way to spend the day?

We have been staying 2 weeks at the 4 star hotel Luna. This location is special in many respects. The hotel offers a great view to the Faraglioni rocks, the mark of Capri. Breakfast, pool area and fitness center was great. The personnel was very friendly and supportive in any respect. Peppino and Costanze, both made every wish possible. Peppino speaks excellent German.
The hotel itself was one of the superlatives and exclusive I ever stayed. The rooms with the balcony had sea view with a fascinating view, which was like a dream!!!.
If you want a vacation which should feel to you perfect then this is the location to choose and to be!!. The pool area is the biggest I know off from Capri (as deep as 4m) and at night the roof garden Is worth to go for a drink. The big terrace with a deep breathing view to the sea and with the Faraglioni in nearly touchable distance offers the opportunity for a great dinner in an unforgettable, unique environment and atmosphere. The food (Michelin star) is outstanding with reasonable cost.
Moreover and foremost the hotel is embedded in a nice big tropical garden area which is in the near of the Augustus garden.
Overall we had an unforgettable vacation time at Luna and we would always go there again when we are at Capri.

The views are amazing from Hotel Luna especially if you get a superior sea view room.
These rooms are updated (but not reflective of the photos on tripadviser so go to their website to see). The service is fantastic. My only complaint is that the breakfast was very basic and un-inspiring and when you are spending 850euros/night you expect it to be top notch and not have to pay extra for an omelette.

A wonderful place to stay while on Capri. The rooms were clean and spacious although not luxurious. We had a room with a garden view, yet still had a nice view of the water. The hotel has a wonderful pool area with excellent service for getting towels and moving umbrellas. If you have not been to Capri before be warned that getting your bags to the hotel is not an easy task. Even if you are a light packer, navigating the crowded uphill streets with a bag is challenging. The hotel will have a porter waiting for you at the dock, be prepared to spend 20 euros per bag to have them delivered to the hotel. The best part of the hotel is without a doubt, the rooftop bar. The views are breathtaking.

This a beautiful quiet hotel with ocean view rooms of the Faraglioni. The pool was lovely and rooms were small but comfortable and typically European. The bathroom has a double sink. The shower is a rain-bath that can be changed to a hand held. I am not a fan but my husband loves it. The breakfast was nice with no upcharge for eggs. It’s in a quiet part of town and down the hill from the main piazza. Keep that in mind because if you can’t manage hills this is not the hotel for you. You can’t control the temperature of your AC. The pool was great but the lunch offered at the pool area is rather limited. My biggest complaint I would say is a strange one. They use some type of alcohol based cleaner to clean the rooms. With Covid I suppose a necessity and you should be happy about. But for some reason in my room - number 214 - the alcohol smell was so strong it made it hard to sleep. I felt like it was suffocating me. We could not sleep with the balcony doors open as the heat was equally as oppressive. Other members of our group did not have that problem. I could not figure out why it was so strong a smell in my room. I tried to find a source and even wiped down the tile on the floor. It was just strange but oppressive and never dissipated . I even kept the balcony doors open one afternoon during the day but that made the room hot and once the doors were shut the smell was just as strong. It was just strange. I did complain to the front desk and was told the hotel was sold out and they could not change my room. They did send a man to investigate who wore a mask so in my opinion would have impeded his sense of smell. He did not seem overly concerned and their solution was an oil based air freshener that did nothing to mask the smell. In hindsight I should have asked for the manager because it really interfered in the quality of my stay. Would have given a higher rating otherwise.

The hotel is lovely but tough for older folks as it is a far walk to the center square. The staff was accommodating but not overly warm and friendly. Our room had issues with the air conditioning which was an issue since temperatures were hovering near 100 degrees. We asked several times for maintenance to look at it, but were told it was fixed. It was not. I would not stay here again, they seem to cater to the wealthier clients.

It is one of My Saves hotels in the world. The location is amazing in front of the Faraglioni. Maximum cleanliness. Excellent service in all areas. Delicious food. The rooms are recently renovated in compliance with the Capri style, some with a breathtaking sea view, others with semi-sea view and pool view and others with internal courtyard view. The Luna Hotel is immersed in a large typically Mediterranean garden a stone's throw from the famous Krupp street and borders the Certosa di Capri. Personally I have already stayed there 'three times and intend to return. Thank you all!

Hotel is nice, quiet, picturesque, the views are gorgeous, the staff is friendly, helpful and discrete, the breakfasts are wonderful and filling. It was a great find. The location is unbeatable - easy to get to everything in Capri (town) and not noisy.
Make sure you ask the hotel to send their porter to pick your bags from the boat!!

The room and balcony was larger than usual European hotels. The view was amazing and I really enjoyed all of the greenery (flowers, trees), it made for a relaxing environment. It is walking distance to Villa Krupp. The Lemon stand is around the corner (don’t miss out, it’s delicious). Their rooftop bar is not worth the hype since the customer service is horrible.

I recently traveled to Capri for a wedding, and my original plan was to stay in an Air BNB with friends, but I found the accommodation less than favorable. I was lucky enough to find a single room at the Luna Hotel during my stay, and I have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel, the grounds, the amenities, and, most of all, the staff. The staff were among the nicest people I met on the island, and they went out of their way to make my stay pleasurable. I can't thank them enough.

It is served in the restaurant. There are places to sit outside. I believe you can order it to the room too.

I emailed them directly and heard back within a few days. But at first I contacted them on their website and filled out the "contact us" box. I didn't hear from them at all. I found a direct email and then heard back.
